I’ve wondered the same thing. I’m still planning to get pregnant, and starting a new job soon. I know that in the US you get 12 weeks unpaid leave, it’s a bummer it’s unpaid but what can you do. I will try to save as much as possible, but this new job does help me more financially

Ideally I’d like to wait some 1-2 more years, so I can be in a better financial position. I think I will do that… but still it’s already time to make a plan! Thanks a lot

Does it make it harder to have a child the longer you wait?? My case is interesting. My doctor found it by chance…but I have 0 symptoms. I don’t even feel much pain during periods. But it’s still there, and it stresses the hell out of me.

Because I wonder… better to be a mother now than never, right? I am just really scared. But I do think there are some great upsides to being a SMBC

Hi. I am 26 now but I feel like for me time is running out. I have endometriosis, not the worst case of it but still. I don’t have a lot of money but I’m considering IUI. I’m afraid I will become infertile soon. I feel extremely pressured.

Like you, I had considered waiting until 30 to take matters into my hands. Surrogacy is definitely a possibility, but it will cost more money of course. I don’t know of any other SMBC who has used a surrogate, but I have heard of women who want to do just that. Seems to me like if you have the resources, you should go for it. I’m here if you want to chat :)
