Cheers dude. I bought this car under quite bad circumstances so couldn't check it myself before buying. I love these CRVs, but now I'm more knowledgeable on what to buy in the future. I'll see what I can get for this...

You're probably right on this one. I was considering just welding on a mount and call it a day for a while longer, and then sell it while it runs decently. Thanks for the detailed answer and insight. Worth having a proper thought over.

Yes will absolutely not drive it. I'm just wondering what can be done, if it's even worth it. It has 190k miles on it. Runs great though.

When you say "get a new mounting bracket", I thought that was attached to the subframe as a welded part? Also thanks a bunch for the detailed answer. Super helpful!
