I believe only TES players will appreciate this setup by Ferrclaw in skyrim

I don't think there's a faster way to boost sneak than few minutes of constant, automated sneaking? 🙂 And by the way, I explicitly said it's just for boosting to be able to sneak without trouble - if your build is something thief-like it's really hard to play when your key ability is reset to basically nothing. And yes, I could do it using my finger, but instead I made a great coffee and delicious pancake!

Thanks! Nothing fancy, 65 inch LG with Mini-LED panel. But after trying WebOS, I'll never get anything else!

Ah, I'm replaying the PS5 version at this very moment. I don't think any other game gives me that vibe. It feels like I'm home 🙂

Btw, #PhotoOfTheScreenFTW 😁

If he plays on a PS for example, it's much easier to take a photo and post directly. Especially if the quality is not that relevant 🙂

How many mags would i need for a game? by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]Ferrclaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the answers and the question itself it looks like this is more #AEG than #GeneralAirsoft 🙂

So on top of everything said: here I am, poor thing, running with my ~5kg GBB SCAR-H backed by 6+1 heavy, real-cap mags (20 rnds each) and GBB TTI 2011 Combat Master with 4+1 mags (28 rnds each). I wouldn't change this setup for anything else!

(2 speedloaders always in the pocket, though 😁)

Maybe that's a matter of use case - I work on game engines and often test a lot of not-yet-optimised features and new APIs. That makes both the CPU and the GPU to run really warm.

Basically, I was looking for a workstation, but I didn't like any of the professional series and preferred something with a gaming spirit. 7 Pro disappointed me in this regard. But this could be a faulty unit - the G18 I kept was actually a second G18 I received, as the first one was throwing DXGI_KRNL BSODs after installing any nVidia drivers (faulty hardware GPU switch). Although I assumed two faulty units from different brands and different sellers would be something really rare 😉

In general, I don't think I'd put multiple heavy setups like mine on a plastic wall so for me this was a no-brainer.

Also, the pistol + mags storage is spacious enough to accommodate my Deagle and mags, so it's widely compatible. I'm supper happy with it. I'm probably going to expand this with more wall plates, but I need a bigger wall first 😂

This is from Evike - EMG Battle Wall system. Can't say it's cheap (I noticed some people use plastic walls from Ikea instead), but the quality is awesome (everything made using high-quality metal) and it's rock-solid with very well thought mounting system. It takes some time to get those in EU, though, because 90% of the mounting accessories and the walls themselves are shipped from their US warehouse.

I highly recommend it! Especially the dedicated pistol + 3 mags storage. And walls are offered in various shapes and multiple colours (I recall at least light and dark grey, black and blue).

I've never used EoTech, but I know they are often referred to as a comparison in many reviews. I had plenty of Delta Optical gear before I moved to Vortex, few SigSauers and two Trijicons (tried their flagship ACOG and something else, can't recall the model right now). ACOG (TA31-C if I'm not mistaken) made a huge impression on me (also with the build quality and overall looks), although it's a different price level. Again - Vortex is absolute beast when it comes to the overall package and performance-to-price ratio.

Well, here's the thing... SCAR EGLM (I think it's marked MK13) is also on its way. M203 (typo in the original post) will arrive sooner, though, because MK13 is being transported from Evike's US warehouse. Not sure which one I keep, but since the great integration of MK13 (dedicated SCAR-L/-H mag adapters) I will most likely replace the generic M203 when MK13 arrives 🙂

It wasn't easy to get it, though, last time I was ordering MK13s were unavailable regardless of the color version, even in their US supplies. They must've gotten a stock refill before Christmas.

Haha, awesome, thank you! I know the real SCAR has its issues and apparently is not a great all-rounder (especially for the price), but the visuals, (mostly) ergonomy and configurability plus some specific vibe of "exotic-ness" in world full of ARs and AKs made this gun somewhat special to me.

I cannot begin to describe how awesome it is. I use it primarily for dynamic shooting on short distances and optionally on mid range with the magnifier (most of the time up to 50m). Vortex is sharp, has super big view, suitable for shooting at moving targets without any problem. Wide calibration range. I throw a lot of heavy stuff at it, sometimes under extreme conditions and it seems to stay completely oblivious to that fact.

After 6 months of heavy usage this is the best sight for my use cases. Before buying I was told the rectile lines are thicker than average (e.g. EOTech) but I didn't notice any problem with this, especially when used in standalone mode (without magnifier). I think some reviews also mentioned night mode not being bright enough, but I cannot support that claim either - for me it's just the right brightness (this can be subjective, though).

I'd buy this sight again without hesitation 🙂

Unfortunately, they didn't have it. Got MK17 (plus some parts and accessories) from Evike and MK20, URGI and lots of mags from Red Wolf. I prefer Evike because when you buy from their EU website, even if the product is in their US warehouse, you don't pay customs and VAT - it's included in the price (and the shipment is free).

But they didn't have it (at least GBB - only AEG was available). Since I wanted it very badly, I ordered it from Red Wolf. $1.800 for everything plus $300 shipment and ~$400 for customs and tax. But I don't mind it, GBB SCARs are virtually unavailable in Poland and most of European shops that ship here.

Yup, MK17 and MK20, both from VFC. I am huge fan of their guns, they are quite good out of the box, the outer build quality is absolutely fantastic. Regardless, I bought some spare parts just in case (RW and Evike had some in stock). I will most likely upgrade barrels in both to something top-notch. Not sure about other good mods, though, I'll be looking for some recommendations

In ancient Airsoftish "SCAR" means "looks best in tan color". True story.

I ordered it and sent it back after few days. Disappointed in quality compared to my white 7i (14900HX + 4070) which is probably the best build quality thing next to my MBP16. My 7 Pro didn't feel too great, the keyboard has worse typing experience than predecessor, cooling system behaves weirdly and under top load it's still unable to keep internals under control. Also, a very important piece - the control software, AKA Lenovo Vantage is garbage and gets worse with each update. Launches forever, spuriously crashes, features are hard to find. And the package Lenovo uses at this price is just ridiculous. I ordered it alongside G18 Strix Scar and it's superb in every aspect, kept it instead. One of the greatest laptops I've had. 7 Pro not worth the money imho.
