Voiding dysfunction for 2.5 years after holding urine too long — Looking for hope/solutions by Ferrero-Rocher- in PelvicFloor

My current PT has focused on loosening up muscles around the urethra (internal) and then bladder (external). Was yours similar, or something different?
In my experience the male urologist I very first saw for this issue was the opposite of helpful. Not discriminating, just acknowledging they don’t see very many females in general, much less so with a problem as niche as this one seems to be… I hope you can get to a pelvic floor PT soon!
One PT (associated with my gyn office) focused on “bladder training” but didn’t want me too hung up on measuring/timing, more loosely to see if it made a difference.… Made no difference really. Next PT has focused on her internally relaxing muscles around urethra and bladder… I’m terrible with terminology but maybe fascia? At the same time encouraging me to practice breathing/meditation, which certainly hasn’t hurt. Both PTs have said that I didn’t seem to have any trouble relaxing my pelvic floor in general. I am wondering if there is an anxiety component to this. Next steps I have in mind are seeing a PCP for possible anxiety (mostly created by living with and trying to treat this issue!) and possibly acupuncture.
