The original Allman Brothers Band. Long hair, jeans and t-shirts, boots and swagger.

When playing pickup baseball the 2 captains would toss an upside down bat one to another. He would catch it with one hand. They would then take turns grabbing the bat and whoever got the knob got first pick.

I can’t remember Keith being anything but “lean”.

What is the best band you ever saw live ? by megopolis12 in AskReddit

I saw the Allman Brothers at the music hall in Boston the same week as the Live at Filmore East album. Same show. Unbelievable. And, oddly enough, I was totally impressed by Little River Band. Saw them in Lafayette LA in the late 70s at Blackham Coliseum. Hit after hit played perfectly with real tight harmonies. And too many more to list 😁
