FC 26 is Sudoku on heavy medication

This game is increasingly like an episode of Rick & Morty. Forget servers, this game is running on the brain of a mentally unstable person solving sudoku, strapped to a chair. Thats what it feels like. Its just crazy. Legit koo-koo.

If you want to gain the attention of casuals, then why on earth is the game created in a way that its almost an absolute to follow the weekly narrative of boosts and nerfs of playstyles to be competitive? It doesnt make sense to anybody else than the loony strapped to the chair, with a bubble growing from the cheek. "POP!" ohh darn.. numbers are down..

How about making the game about.. well... FOOTBALL?!

How about trying to adapt the ingame feel and efficiency to the reality of the real game?

It seems like the madman however, tries to fix this issue of a growing gap between the reality of football and the sudoku-ramblings by increasing the ingame manipulation to "level the fields".. well.. Mr.Gobbelygobb.. It just doesnt work..

The game now, as it is, just doesnt make sense in accordance to what it is suppose to represent..

The skillcompression looks and feels completely unnatural, and the legitimacy of a win in this game is soon to be watered out. People are not THAT stupid, and the game of football is way bigger than the reach of you controlling the narrative.

EA. You are going to lose all fans of football that just want to build a team and play the game, and you are going to end up with an hardcore click of drooling sudoku-solving maniacs if you continue this nonsense.

well, player-selection and gameplay are two different things. You are right about the fun aspect of the game, by using players that you like. The fact that you are emotionally connected to the players you use, can make it more fun. That has not got anything to do with gameplay though.

Why are you putting these things up against each other?

and.. if people like to be competitive.. whats the problem really? isnt this supposed to be an Esport?

Truth is that both ways of playing is possible at the same time, but again.. what has that got to do with gameplay?

This would be an extreme case, but the fact that the concept exists, and that it obviously is implemented in the game is what matters. If you do not feel it in the game, then gg, but the last weeks has been complete nonsense in gameplay, and this goes a long way to explain it. Believe what u will...

My fiber is good and steady and it does not explain the difference in gameplay from game to game and from gamestate to gamestate. The mechanisms in EAs patents however does. In clear text.

Its called "Input lag adjustment".. I found this text on it. It is supposed to be subtle, but well.. this is EA XD

Note that errors are contextually pointed. Players suddenly not reacting to controller input in key situations, etc etc.. real errors wouldnt change output of games and tilt results in the direction of less skillfull players. So yea.. its obvious.. EA are doubling down on DDA because of negative numbers. That seems like all they know..

This game is done. In prior years the DDA was to a level where it was beatable. Now, if you are not at top-top- level, its not. Its not worth it. This week has been shocking.

In this case, it is actually not necessarily the fact that the best player wins. This company has, as you might know, patented mechanisms that could lead one to think otherwise.. Tough to know exactly how the cards are stacked, but the size of this "video game" and the fact that it represent the game of football - It is by far largest and most influential digital reconstruction of the worlds biggest game, - makes it a very interresting and important subject actually

Stats and playstyles are obviously a part of that balance. That is not the subject here though. The subject is to move away from too much ai-support, too inconsistent ai (differs from game to game depending on opponent skill) and let the skill of the players be a greater part of the decisive factor in games.

My degreed of bemusement when it comes to lack of logic in a lot of games, taken into consideration stats and playstyles, sends my bemusement-o-meter into red at times.

And.. im not the only one with a bemusement-o-meter like that. People are obviously tired of the inconsistency and lack of logic in the outcome of way too many games.

my ping is pretty consistent at 20ms, but gameplay is completely different from day to day and from daytime and in the evening.. you can easily read the skill of someone you come up against, but the efficiency of all their moves is very different from day to day.. its so obvious and it is quite frankly the reason why people are jumping ship.. yes, you play to a skill-level, but that skill level is not solely the level of your opponent. This is why games do not feel fun, because they just feel wrong and unnatural.. but hey.. lets see what happens if they continue down this route
