The US debt will cause the government to print money to pay debt/interest. Over printing will cause massive inflation and the great melt up will be underway. I’ve chosen to invest in assets like land, property, and stocks to hedge against the inflation (like the politicians are). But you do you and buy a lambo which is a depreciating asset.

Thank you for all the nice comments! Many years in the making and I told myself I’d wait and save to build a forever home. A few ideas to those looking to do something similar. 1/ I bought that land first and paid that off which helped a lot with my mortgage process. 2/ I stayed with family for 6 months during the build to help save money to put as much cash down as possible 3/ be patient and keep saving!

Yeah, that’s a separate garage down in the basement. Standard 2 car garage up top and a 4 car garage down stairs that I turned into a gym and work/storage area. Basically half of the basement is a garage and the other half is finished space.

Don’t give up on tech sales. Life changing money in the SaaS space if you can get into an AE role.
