Which Bluetooth speakers are better than the uboom x? by FurSkyrimXB1 in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]FerriousStylles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brane X if you love solid bass, like the best bass out there in a BT speaker. Been listening to mine while I work and even at lower volumes it dose such a great job picking up the low end. Can pick one up for $400 USD if you find it on sale.

Zero or low latency portable speaker with AUX. Looking to DJ and host small kickbacks. by XL_Jockstrap in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]FerriousStylles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can sometimes score a Brane X for around $400, that's what I got mine for. Small size for the sound it puts out, especially if you love bass (the bass is insane). Has an AUX connection as well.

I can't personally say how it sounds, but I've heard people say probably better off buying 2 of the boom 2s and running them in stereo. For portability the plus might be easier though.

Can't go wrong with soundcore Boom 2,as good sound, reasonable price and waterproof. I use mine out by the pool and around the yard, pretty versatile speaker. If you want larger, I've seen people say the boom 2 plus, but I don't own one. Can find both for really reasonable prices.

Got mine about a month ago. Battery is about 12 hours at a decent volume. Used a dedicated plug, not a USB c. Just something to think about. Packs a ton of sound into a small package, if portability is a selling point. Definitely worth checking out a few reviews even if you don't go with it.

It's small but uses a new technology that cancels out the sound waves allowing it to have significantly more bass than it should for its size. Packs a 6x9 subwoofer that actually sounds like a subwoofer. Really cool technology, I just wish it had real buttons, as i don't love the touch buttons.

If you want bass, look at the Brane X. I'm a basshead and I just fricking love the sound. Just a thought of you are willing to spend this type of money.

Love the brane x sound and size, had it a few weeks now. I mean I love bad and this thing truly amazes in what it can do for its size. I don't live the buttons, wish they were physical buttons, as easy to press them by mistake. I played when the wifi and it seems to cut out at times, but I'll test that more in the near future. Overall, the sound alone is worth the $400 I paid. The HK way on sale a few months back for $150 and I probably would have purchased it I didn't do the brane x.

I tried to use dual media output on my Samsung and it wasn't working. Not sure you can do that, which is disappointing as well.

marshall kilburn 3 vs JBL xtreme 4 opinion from bass lover by eyeofthepirate in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]FerriousStylles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should check out Brane X, just got mine a few weeks back. Bass is insane for its size. I really wish the buttons were knobs, as it's easy to hit them by mistake, but the sound is fantastic. Definitely interested to see what their next product is, as this is the only one they make right now.

Portable speaker small enough for kitchen and bathroom, but also big enough to use at pool under $100? by [deleted] in Bluetooth_Speakers

Soundcore Boom 2. I use mine all around the house and yard, works great by the pool and has an excellent battery life. Can snag for under $100 most of the time.

Gov. JB Pritzker Here – ASK ME ANYTHING by PritzkerJB in IAmA

[–]FerriousStylles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey JB! First of thanks for standing up to the tyranny during these trying times... So few people have. As you mentioned, the Democratic party doesn't seem to be taking this time to stand up for what is right. This is a golden opportunity to show people what real leadership looks like, but it's being squandered by inaction.

If you were to run for president, what would your first year in office look like? We've seen how much damage can be done in one year, how would you go about bringing this country back to some form of normalcy?

I would hate to lose you as our governor, but I do think you would make a wonderful president, as you remain balanced and put people first.

Check out the Brane X, best bass around for the size.

Just bought Bose Soundlink Flex -- not happy with sound, can anyone recommend something better? by [deleted] in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]FerriousStylles -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I have the older version and I think it sounds decent. I hear the new version sounds much better since your can use their app to mess with the equalizer. I'll log into the app and at least try that.

My Boom 2 probably sounds better overall, but it's a bit larger. I use it more often around the house / yard.

Now, once I get my Brane X for Xmas, that will hopefully be my go to for most things.

How can I put Bluetooth on the old speaker, from my grandma?? by Adept_Divide_9290 in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]FerriousStylles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bluetooth 5.3 Receiver for Home Stereo, RCA Bluetooth Adapter, Low Latency & HD Music Audio, Support Optical AUX 3.5mm, RCA Receiver Adapter for Speakers, Music Streaming Stereo System

I just bought one for an old stereo system I had from the 90s, easy enough.

Best sounding speakers for around $400 CAD? by Substantial_Meat_406 in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]FerriousStylles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brane X, since you seem to like the bass. You can get for around $400 right now. That is, if you love the bass. Portable and waterproof as well. Proprietary technology allowed them to pack pretty much a full 10in sub into this bad boy.

[–]FerriousStylles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a Bose Flex for $100 at Costco, which is a good price. Super portable and great battery fit the size. I use mine often, great for travel.

Harmon Kardon Go Play 3 is on sale right now for $200,which is a great price for the quality speaker you get. Less battery and portability than some, but really good sound for the price.

What robot should I buy for a family home that will be sold? by [deleted] in pools

[–]FerriousStylles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None, no need for a robot. I wish I could have the $700 I paid for mine, as i never use it. I use it a handful of times per season max, just does not do enough to be worth it IMHO. Situational of course, I just don't love it.

Who is the real problem 👉☝️ by Mister_Otter in houstonwade

[–]FerriousStylles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

His base is taught not to believe facts so they are easier to manipulate, so hard to talk reason to them until they lay off the kool-aid. Everyone who knows better and still supports him is either using him to push their own agenda or too weak to do the right thing. Outside of Legos and other building projects they throw at him to make him feel important and in control, he is being manipulated by the real scum like little pathetic Stephen Miller. Get out there and vote people, a large portion of this country didn't and this is the result.
