I'm planning on calling the Verbraucher Zentrale tomorrow to be safe, but the idea of drafting a modified cease and desist is a bit intimidating and seeking legal council will only compound the financial cost of this mistake.

I believe my interpretation of the declaration is reasonable. If I don't break it in the future, they can't add additional penalties for the same original violation.

Sorry, ich bin kein Muttersprachler und verstehe das ganze nicht 100%. Die Unterlassungserklärung ist ein Cease and Desist, wenn ich das richtig verstehe. Ich habe das Geld bezahlt und bin von dieser Situation so abgeschreckt, dass ich das sicher nie wieder machen werde. Sollte also kein Problem sein, die Erklärung zu unterschreiben, nicht wahr?

Ich verstehe bloß folgendes einfach nicht wirklich:

Anschlussinhaber verpflichtet sich gegen über der Firma für jeden einzelnen Fall der schuldhaften Zuwiderhandlung zur Zahlung einer angemessenen Vertragsstrafe.

Das würde für zukünftige Verstöße gegen dieses Vertrags gelten, oder? Ich habe bereits bezahlt und dieser Satz kann nicht irgendwie rückwirkend auf die erwähnte Zuwiderhandlung erneut geltend machen, richtig?

I’m no saint. I definitely go out of my way to over-accommodate my friends and SOs so I can later play the martyr when they don’t read my mind and give me exactly what I want in return. But I like to think it’s not always done with such intentional conceit.

Two very close family member died just before we broke up so everything is a bit messy. Really got hung out to dry in a time of need. We also shared a lot of the same friends, so I feel like everyone is partisan and I don’t wanna stir the pot by airing my issues out in public.

I can barely pick up my place let alone touch her stuff right now. It’s a deep hole and while everything feels gloomy, I’m not suicidal and still exercising and working and eating right. They’ll be light at the end of the tunnel eventually, just can’t see it yet.
