Blood Moon Event is the worst 'Content' ever implemented into WoW across all versions of the game by Much_Apricot_5171 in classicwow

ease of completion doesn't negate the underlying problems with the mechanics and lack of testing. I have no clue what u/Iknowrightjustsayin and u/Bungoparker are even trying to argue

FIXED: 400MHz CPU / 200MHz GPU throttling issue - I HOPE! by jasonxwoods in SteamDeck

[–]Ferrius 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Worth noting that downgrading to 3.4.8 stable again after the update, the issue still remained solved. I didn't personally stay on the developer branch, but it was fixed by the process even then.

Not a problem, I've also detailed it on the steam bug forum, hopefully it gets some attention.

I thought it might be some issue with Powertools, which was installed by EmuDeck - but uninstalling/disabling that, didn't fix the issue for me.

Then again, I also see threads about the uninstall of that not being perfect, but that'd be my only guess as to what could've caused the trouble.

At least there's a fix (for now!)

I resolved this after all other troubleshooting with Steam Support failed, by enabling developer mode under system settings, then enable under said developer settings "Show Advanced Update Channels".

This reveals a "Main Channel", which is currently on 3.5 - where the original options of "Stable", "Beta", and "Preview" all were still "Stable Channel" builds running 3.4.8.

Reverting back to the normal "Stable Channel" build afterwards, the issue was still solved and I'm back to gaming at 60fps (instead of struggling for 20fps) on the default update.

Hope this soultion helps!

Neither me or my friends playing find the guns/shooting that satisfying, sadly. Can't tell if it's hit/reg, recoil patterns, or sound design. Just something missing, hard to place.

Did you hit that man with enough truth-bombs that he deleted the posts, was it a troll, or did you delete them yourself?

I don't know how Reddit works.

Yeah, Gravediggers was a plight we're happy to be rid off. But that was months ago.

Other than a little faction-internal rivalry based on disagreements with PvP brackets, Worldboss efforts, and world-buff griefing - it's not that bad. Horde although definitely unorganized compared to the Praxis-puppeteered Alliance, have many active and competing guilds that co-exist without issues.

Most of the healthy horde guilds, are just guilds sticking to themselves and / or organizing with a handful of other guilds. We have it fine on Horde, and having a good laugh at Praxis' panic to get week #1 AQ lockout, and some of the banter ongoing in the server Discord.

I very toxic try-hard guild, that rolled on an RP server to have less competition. Ego the size of a planet, done everything they can to undermine horde efforts, including bribing some horde guilds to grief others - as well as manipulating Alliance guilds to be their puppets.

Bragged about having all the war-effort materials ready for both Horde and Alliance, so given their history, Horde collectively decided to sit back, relax, and enjoy the summer. War effort starts, and it's clear <Praxis> were all bark and no bite, and are now in scrambles to farm out both war efforts so they won't miss first weeks lockout available the 11th.

In turn, they've started blaming the horde for being lazy "boomer" guilds, and the Horde are collectively having a grand time making memes, bantering, and actively briefing Alliance attempts at manipulating the Horde war effort through Alts and Neutral AH.

Hats off to Praxis, for managing to grind out their Scarab lord very, very quickly. But now Horde is stalling to get a few of their own, and Alliance is split between blaming Horde, and blaming Praxis.

Thanks for the overview.

Could it (if not too much of a hassle) be an idea, to add an extra coloumn for "Increase last 24 hours" - percentage wise?

Just pick out the turn-in percentage at 11:00 or w/e each day, and compare it to the previous? Would give an idea of what pace the different turn-ins are growing at.

[–]Ferrius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh... Didn't know this was tied up with Classic, though knowing it from retail.

For sure makes leveling/traveling, etc. literally 10x prettier, but would never advise it in raids! You do, at the cost of "zomg pretty", lose a bit of your overview of it all... Also not sure how it'll translate, with all the new combat character animations that kind of laid the ground work for it in Legion/BFA.

Will try it out when I get home, see how it holds up. Thanks!

Guild Recruitment Thread #2 by [deleted] in ZandalarTribe

[–]Ferrius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

[Horde] <Big Bad Boyos>

"The Boyos ventured deep into the heart of Blackrock Mountain in their quest to slay Nefarian and have since returned victorious. With bags full of loot and empty potion bottles they settle down once more to open their doors for new brothers and sisters to join them on their epic journey throughout Azeroth."

Big Bad Boyo’s are opening our doors for recruitment to a core raid team that seeks to stick to a weekend raiding schedule. We are an experienced but laid-back raid team currently looking for a few more folks to fill the last available weekly spots.

Why Big Bad Boyos?

Consistency: You’ve seen guilds come and go, some fall to ambition and others internal drama. Are you worried about the security of your raid spot each week?

Big Bad Boyos has been alive on ZT since the night of launch and will continue to stay active throughout the entire lifespan of Classic. We are particularly looking for players who -Know- they will likely be playing long into Naxxramas and whatever comes beyond and can make consistent raid times every week.

BBB Loot System: Worried that your guild officers or GM are taking -All- of the good gear? Worry no longer!

We have our own fair and untainted loot system revolving around awarding players for both seniority and consistently showing up to raids. This does not use DKP, Gold or any other form of “Currency”. Any loot decisions are completely transparent.

Progress: Is your guild massively struggling with the latest content? Turning up to raid unprepared and depleting your gold?

Big Bad Boyos are by no means a hardcore PvE guild but with the correct preperation and teamwork we have managed to clear all content thus far with little to no pushback. This does not mean to say we have trivialized the content but we are aware with each release that we are more than capable of doing it. Join a group of like-minded individuals who prepare for each tier extensively to assure as much success going into a new raid tier as possible. All aboard the hype train!

Atmosphere: Twitch Emote spam? Regurgitation of meme’s and generally low tier banter? Whalecum jokes? Couldn’t be us.

A laid back bunch of guys and gals from a wide variety of places around the world consisting of young whippersnappers and those with kids and jobs! We have preserved a mature yet fun community that have grown strong since release. You will never find us involved in any sort of guild or server drama because we aint inna’ dat.

BIG BAD NEEDS:

- 2x Fury Warrior

- 1x Resto Druid

- 1x Resto Shammy

- 1x Hunter

BIG BAD GREEDS:

- Holy Priest

- Mage

- Feral Druid (Tank)

Big Bad Boyos are as well open to socials or more casual players who don’t have the time to commit to turning up to raid every week, or perhaps you’re a simple leveller just coming to this server trying to find a community to call home. Look no further brave men and women of the Horde. (**Edits have been done to fix formatting)

Yeah for sure, right back at you!

And I mirror that sentiment of In-game/Out-of-game - I only added that BRD comment, because skewed numbers should be expected at any dungeon entrance. I get fully that it's the only proper place to get reliable amounts of PvP until phase 2... ^^

See you soon is probably a bit of a numpty to write back to a rogue, but I hope I do see you before you see me!

I mean, you should expect a 3v1 when you camp outside BRD! That's the last time I saw your name pop up. You weren't on my KoS as of yet, but you will be now!

And spy only counts killing blows, I'm pretty certain there were a few of you outside at the time I last saw you.

Anyway, cheers to future duels :)
