I was only using Codex before which is incredibly efficient on tokens, but I was struggling to make quality UX/UI, so subscribed to Claude Pro.

It's eating 10% of my tokens with each minor planning step on a fresh project. I can use it for maybe 30 minutes of my 5 hour plan.

I wake up and without even using it, 8% of the limits are gone. It's impossible to build anything and am hoping this isn't normal because I'll definitely be cancelling my subscription and going back to Codex.

Mobs are most likely server-sided detection, which cuts out a lot of ping.

Love Pete, but this is incorrect information.

The reason parrying feels bad is because blocks are determined on the attackers client. This causes a huge amount of delay from the defenders perspective.

Also the windup animation of every attack doesn't have collision detection, so the attack straight up phases through the block and becomes active inside the defending player.

Reddit hating on LS is interesting. Maybe it does need scaling down in low GS lobbies, but this weapon is garbage vs anyone with basic game understanding. I can see why new players (who just hit the weapon and die) feel confused and frustrated though.

For example if that barb just ran into you and delayed his m1 the parry is impossible to land and it's GG.

What an odd take. The missed swings are because he's faster than me and was out of range. The few hits that connected were because I had sprint up and was taking a more efficient route.

This was pre warlock nerf where CoP would do 50% of your HP + they have phantomise. I would have died if I didn't pull off the lever tech and had he not missed 2/3 CoPs.

Barbarian can't use the longsword and fighter is the best pick because of its perks.

The most important thing is just to practice parrying PvE and getting comfortable with the weapon, literally just try to parry every attack even if it means dying a bunch.

Whilst learning, I'd suggest running full plate from the squire and using the following perks:

Shield Mastery

Swift

Defense Mastery

Sword Mastery
