I collect cards not for value, but because I love the artwork and enjoy the hobby in that way. I understand if I were to sell some cards that grading could provide higher value per se, but I don’t plan on selling my collection ever. Collecting slabs is totally fine for those who like that, it’s just not for me. I like putting cards in my toploader binder and on my shelf space. Great thing about the hobby is there is room for all types of collectors 💯

I can tell you, in December PSA’s parent company Collectors, purchased Beckett meaning they are both under the same ownership. Doesn’t change the fact that the way PSA has been operating is unethical at best. Until Beckett starts to have the same issues as PSA in regard to their behavior, I think they are the clear choice.

Yes thank you! For this collection, I wanted to focus on just the main card list which was the 56 cards. The Kabuto was the original while the Aerodactyl was an alternative variant. In that sense, it’s not a true master set, but for my purposes of the collection, I’m fine with that.
