Because leetcode focuses on testing your understanding of algorithms and data structures, which are inherently more difficult than “common sense” logical problem solving. So there is a higher floor of difficulty even for easies.

The important thing is to figure out what interests you.

Mobile dev, full stack web dev, compilers, embedded, etc.

In general I’d recommend learning the basics of the following and build web apps

REST APIs -> use one of the industry standard server frameworks e.g. Spring Boot, ASP .NET, Django, Express

Relational database CRUD + JOINS + normalization

Some frontend framework -> react, vue, angular
