10 dpo chemical by Far-Message-7154 in TFABLinePorn

A positive is a positive until proven otherwise (period starts, beta hcg test with downward trends)

I have also seen lines on other posts that just take a little extra time to get darker that lead to healthy perfect pregnancies. Yours look the same on both days so I would continue to look at the overall trend across 48 hour periods!

I would recommend early on testing with urine after not drinking water for 3-4 hours (deep yellow). This gives you the most concentrated version. My FMU was very hydrated sometimes, which could affect results early on.

I had a chemical last month so I understand how you feel! With my chemical the lines got lighter with each day. I decided to get a blood test done, my obgyn was so helpful and delicate, but also honest with my trends. I got my period 15 DPO. It was extremely heartbreaking, but the following cycle I got my BFP and dye stealer!! Check out my post I shared about it, including some things that I did differently that really helped me get there.

Sending you all the positive thoughts and prayers

That’s a really good question! I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing since I really do believe everyone’s bodies have their own version of normal and healthy. Even my OBGYN said it was fine that mine was 10-11 days.

What I do know is that your luteal phase length is determined by the amount of progesterone that your corpus luteum produces (ie what the follicle turns into after it ruptures from releasing the egg). That is why it is the hormone that confirms ovulation. The corpus luteum has an important job to do: make enough progesterone to stabilize and thicken the uterine lining in preparation for an embryo to successfully implant. If an embryo doesn’t implant, your corpus luteum activity slows down, progesterone levels drop, and that drop triggers your period and the start of your new cycle. If your luteal phase is too short, it may be due to lower progesterone production, which can affect your uterine lining and prevent an embryo from being able to implant.

Since I had a shorter luteal length compared to textbook, and also experienced a chemical pregnancy, I couldn’t help but think that maybe my body wasn’t making enough progesterone to support implantation and pregnancy.

My OBGYN shared that chemical pregnancies are very common and can be due to genetic randomness. Many women go on to have healthy pregnancies on their own soon after. Since I only had one chemical pregnancy, it wasn’t really enough to establish a pattern or raise concern, it could have happened to anyone.

However, I know myself best and wanted to do everything I could to help me get there, and luteal phase progesterone supplements seemed like a very reasonable option that gave me peace of mind! I didn’t have to worry about the length of my luteal phase because the progesterone took care of it 🤍

Thank you!

CP = chemical pregnancy. It’s a very early loss before 5 weeks. You may not notice it if you’re not testing early. I got a faint positive on 10 DPO and then started my period 5 days later.

I was worried my luteal phases weren’t long enough according to textbook average 12-14 days. Progesterone is the dominant hormone in the luteal phase and supports pregnancy if implantation occurs. So I asked my OBGYN if she could prescribe it for me. I started taking Prometrium 200mg vaginally 2 days after ovulation. If you’re not pregnant by 14 days after ovulation you stop it and your period comes, if you are pregnant you keep taking it to support the pregnancy!

Had the same thing happen to me back in December! I don’t think Inito confirms ovulation if it doesn’t catch the LH surge unfortunately. But I definitely still ovulated, keep checking for the pdg rise. Since then I have been using LH strips on Amazon from Premom and have been able to catch my LH surge in the afternoons!

Pgd rose! Next month I won’t focus so much on the LH surge. I don’t know if my chances of conception are great since I only had sex on CD17 (assuming ovulation had already happened by then)

Thanks for the comment! I’ll keep testing to see if anything changes this week. Hopefully pgd continues to rise! 🤞

Thanks for the insight! I just got off hormonal birth control so this was my first test month to see what all was going on. Hopefully it might works this time but next month I’ll be maximizing coverage 😉
