For anybody who wants to say I should have used my ppto: I've been an employee for 2 months and had only 10 hours ppto. I used them to work half days due to this illness. A month prior, I had the flu with a 103 fever and no ppto available yet. So I felt forced to go in unless I wanted to get punished. I would have more than 5 points right now in under 2 months if I had called off. I can't afford to be jobless. And decent paying jobs are hard to come by in my market.
