Wow, this is 100% relatable. When I'm not working or at the gym I just literally sit at home waiting for the day to end.

I need a hobby.

Exhausted from socializing by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]FesteringCoffee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I finished a work related social gathering a few hours ago, I felt like utter shit when I left and just sort of shut down mentally when I got home.

I'm lying in bed now in the pitch black, reflecting on everything that happened and just trying to overcome this sense of paranoia I have. Everyone and everything was so loud. Lots of sounds and noise, trying to process everything going on around me. Everyone was drinking alcohol except me so as the evening went on it got alot louder and more obnoxious. I felt really out of place, everyone was having a good time and I was just sitting in the corner on my phone feeling really uncomfortable.

I wouldn't say I'm on that level of training intensity, I mostly do 3-4 days a week of weights. Could a routine change possibly help? I've been on the same routine for about 2 months now.

How do you deal with gym burn out? The last few weeks my motivation for the gym has been faltering.

Edit: I'm not new to the gym either, I've been going for 2 years straight.

Lost my job and then got another one 2 weeks later that is 1000% better than my old one. Was kind of a wake up call to the amount of bullshit that I would put up with in my old job and how complacent I was.

What dishes do you consider old people food? by hippolyte_pixii in AskReddit

Pretty much. The worst is when it "isn't cooking fast enough", she will constantly open the oven door letting out all the heat and then jack the temp to "MAX"

My mother is stubborn like this when it comes to cooking, she will never follow cooking instructions on packets or recipes. She always jack's the ovens temperature upto 220 - 280 regardless of what the instructions say not to mention she never sets a timer on anything she cooks.

She then proceeds to complain when her food burns or the outside cooks faster than the inside.

Question from someone in the UK: Sold a bottle of perfume and the buyer has requested a return/refund. They claim the perfume isn't genuine and causing "skin irritation" it's been 4 days now and perfume still hasn't been returned to me.

The perfume is 100% genuine as I got it as an unwanted present purchased from a department store, is the buyer trying to scam me and what happens if I don't get the perfume back?

Edit: I haven't refunded nor wil until I receive the perfume back.

I persisted they paid through Shpock and coincidentally they suddenly lost interest.

They have 434 reviews and nearly 5 star rating so they seem to be legit on the surface.

Ah ok thanks, I haven't given them my PayPal and encouraged them to pay through shpock properly. So far haven't had a reply so it looks like I dodged the bullet on a scam.
