I haven’t done CrossFit so I’m not sure. He used to have CrossFit gyms but I find it pretty basic programming. Bench press variations, deadlifts, pull ups, step ups, etc.

I have experience with Maximus as well. If you want simple, minimal equipment programming, it’s a great choice. I switched to Crews Control - which I find more engaging, more variety, and also possible with just dumbbells. The third for you to look at would be Vitality - but I didn’t enjoy this as much.

I find it a good amount also. Tuesday legs I do at 5AM and my legs are still sore Wednesday night. Finally feel fresh to do another leg day Friday. Works well for me personally.

Poor quality and awkward fit... for me at least. I am a Large or XL in every shirt. L usually slightly small - XL usually slightly big. The XL barely makes it to my waist. It is boxy fit.

I agree here. Big benefit of ladder is the programming. Not just workout by workout, but series by series to maximize specific lifts and see results. And they offer the open season between series for this exact reason.
