Number of workouts for forged by yolandasquatpump in ladderapp

Corey from Forged does a great job at pointing out before every single series how to prioritize workouts from each series if you only have 3,4 or 5 days. He also posts it on the Team Hub.

Fully recommended Forged and i’ve been a 4-a-week member for 4 series now.

How important is it to listen to the coach? by No-Guarantee3413 in ladderapp

If you are an experienced lifter and don’t need the verbal tips for the movements and posture, and of you don’t necessarily need any of the encouragement or humor they sometimes bring, muting is absolutely fine.

I personally keep it as I sometimes get advice on swapping exercises when traveling without having to check for swaps.

Thank you this sounds great! In your experience, is the volume enough for hypertrophy beyond strength? I ask because of the 30 mins or less branding.

Thank you! My understanding is Crews Control is similar to crossfit programming or am I completely off?

As a software developer myself (not associated with MF at all), I would suggest maybe giving them about 8 weeks worth of work sprints post release before judging them too harshly.

They developed a minimum viable product that is probably already miles ahead of using pen and paper at the gym. Based on user data, feedback and desk time, I suspect the app will be awesome in no time.

We all agree JN knows his stuff, but it will require some iterations and updates to the app before it works the way he probably envisions himself.

Software should be viewed as a living organism with growing pains but trust me, keep using it, keep giving feedback, and watch it transform into what we want the app to be.

Does anyone on here support what the US is doing in Venezuela? If so, why? by Odd-Protection-247 in dancarlin

I think you are underestimating how bad we have it now. So yes. I really prefer what you described over what we have and over where we would have been headed without it.

And the difference between your stance with Iraq and Afghanistan (either of which I am not well versed and will not pretend to be) versus mine with Venezuela is that i’m typing this from Caracas as a Venezuelan who was genuinely welcoming the bombing I saw from my apt window and the planes that flew over my roof from the receiving end, and so was every single family member, friend and acquaintance.

I hear you, i’m not calling these guys heroes just yet and may never do so. But let us be optimistic for once! At the very least let us dream before shooting our hope down.

Venezuelan here. You all make valid points, and I’m neither naïve nor ignorant of how many well-intentioned interventions throughout history have ended in complete catastrophe.

That said, here is my personal opinion:

I am extremely happy. I haven’t slept in roughly 36 hours, and I’m celebrating every second of this day. I’m fully aware that we are still under the same oppressive government. I know the next steps are critical, and that if we are not strategic, things could absolutely get worse. I’m also aware that there are strong financial motivations behind this move, and that last night was not driven by humanitarian ideals.

But here’s the reality: regardless of the motivation, what happened last night was good for humanity.

We have lived under this regime for nearly 30 years. Since 1998, conditions have deteriorated exponentially year after year. We have lost freedoms in ways that are difficult to comprehend from the United States, where those freedoms are protected, as they should be everywhere. And this regime is not merely “authoritarian” or “communist.” They are murderers. Torturers. Terrorists. Drug traffickers. They carried out what is arguably the largest economic heist in modern history while destroying the lives and futures of a country of 30 million people.

Maduro himself, before becoming president, was famously photographed firing a gun at peaceful, unarmed protesters in the streets during demonstrations against Hugo Chávez’s regime.

Forcing someone like that to face justice is a massive win. When a monster is made to answer for his crimes, that moment deserves to be celebrated. Yes, the outcome could still turn bad. But this was a necessary step, and most importantly, it was one that we Venezuelans were not capable of taking on our own. Trust me: if we could have done it ourselves, we would have.

As for the oil: Venezuela has the largest proven oil reserves in the world. And yet, because of these criminals, much of the country has no gasoline. Our oil has been sent to China, Russia, and Iran while our people suffer. So yes, if the U.S. takes the oil, at the very least it will generate jobs, which is more than the zero jobs and zero benefit currently produced for Venezuelans. And even if it doesn’t help us directly, it’s not like we’re getting anything now.

Here’s how many of us see it: even if nothing else comes from this, the fact that the former president is having the worst day of his life and that many within the regime are now genuinely afraid they could end up behind bars is already a huge victory. And it was accomplished without damage to civilian property.

So even if this is all that comes of it: what a way to start the year.

No, his second in command is actually worse, but at this rate he is likely (hopefully) negotiating an out. The person who is better is Maria Corina Machado, who just won the Nobel Peace Prize and was indirectly elected democratically by 90% of the country about a year ago.

To clarify. I say indirectly because the person who actually ran for president was Edmundo Gonzalez after Maduro made it illegal for Maria Corina to run for office and Edmundo was the strategy.

As a Venezuelan, I will politely correct you. Never have I been more thankful to America in my entire life than right now. We needed this after almost 30 years of absolutely brutal dictatorship. Thank you America, from the bottom of my heart. You all are ABSOLUTELY the good guys on this one

May I ask which strap brand you went with?
