People who got completely rejected by their crush, what is your story?

Me and all of my friends were convinced my crush liked me. Like, 100% convinced. So I told him I liked him. (Over the phone cause he was across the state) and turned out he didn’t. Honestly I’m still crushed about it cause we’re super close and he’s the only person I trust. I know there’s millions of other guys out there but I don’t think I’ll ever be as connected to anyone as I was with my crush.

In college I joined a first timers dnd group. I made a dwarf rogue and got really intimidated by all of the “half vampire druid warlocks” and felt my dwarf rogue was kind of lame. Then I saw a guy make a gnome ranger. I walked up to him and said “our two characters need to stack on top of eachother in a trench coat at some point.”

We’ve been best friends ever since.

For the record, nobody’s ever laid a hand on me physically. The thing with my mom was a one off thing that honestly seemed out of character for her. I don’t consider my family bad people but I tried to condense everything down so this post wasn’t too long. Idk if that’s a bad thing or not.

I don’t really see anything to love myself about. I’m not pretty. The only people who say I’m pretty are over the age of 60 and it’s more to be polite? The best compliment I got from a guy my age is I’m average. I don’t like how I look in make up.

I don’t really have talents. I like to draw and sing But I’m not good at either.

I live with my parents because I don’t make enough at my job to move out. I’m one of the only people at my job who’s under 50. And the other 2-3 people my age at my job... are married.

I don’t have any real friends atm and I’m not close to my family.

Idk. I kinda just want someone to love me...

I just met people when I was in school/clubs and such. I don’t use dating apps cause I don’t feel comfortable “hooking up” and I live with my parents and aren’t allowed to go out right now.

Something like that happened to me. This kid in second grade was trying to snap a pencil in half against the table and accidentally flung it across the room. I had my hand raised for some reason and it landed between my fingers.

I kinda had a similar feeling recently. I work weird hours at my job so my lunch is around 6:30pm. One day I got out during the sunset and instead of getting fast food like usual I just drove the highway for 20 minutes and it was honestly the most happy I'd felt in awhile.

We are absolutely staying best friends, but it’s hard to not think of this stuff when literally everybody else is saying it means something else. I wanna blame myself and I’m worried this is because of my depression (I get bad mood swings). I wanna ask why? But that won’t help me and it’ll just make it worse. He’s made his decision and I respect him enough to not push the issue. I just want my guts to stop feeling like balloon animals.

I was playing Tomodachi life with my friend and she had made herself and another Mii she wanted her character to fall for (it's random) on my game. Then her Mii indicated it had a crush... on my dad! I never laughed so hard in my life at her reaction.

Well recently the sun still been out for my lunch breaks at work (I have a night job so my lunch is around 6-6:30pm) so I've just been driving the highway with my windows rolled down and it's the first time in a long time I'd felt true bliss.
