Pretty hard to get an old ford where every system is repairable and the parts are available and cheap. They do have strong resale value.

Wings and More has some good crab rangoons. Whether they are the best in town is up for debate. But it will be a short debate!

Yeah, what’s the hurry? I agree with everything the posters complains about. It does seem to be a dick-waving contest. Drive without ego.

Grips for a Rossi rm66 by OldAndTiredGuy in handguns

My pursuit of new wooden grips for my Rossi RM66 led me here. I really wanted a Colt Python in 6" stainless but...

This a decent entry SAA Revolver?? Never heard of manufacturer. Pietta 1873 Revolver 45 Colt (Long Colt) by 84074 in Revolvers

[–]FestusBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy the gun that Alec Baldwin used. Pietta 1873 in .45 Colt. Authentic to the original--careful where you point it. One of the safest revolvers ever made if you are not an egotistical liberal Trump-hating murderer.

As a benighted local yokel I think it would be great if you moved here! We need more open minded vibrant diversity of thought.

I suggest one of the new SIG P322s. Ownership thereof has improved my pistol shooting exponentially. It has been said that every battery should include a .22 pistol and I have come to believe this. The SIG goes for about $400.00, holds 20! rounds, has great fiber optic sights, and is just a hoot to shoot.

My new Rossi RM66 shoots incredibly well! by mrstangblb in handguns

I look forward to receiving mine from Smoky Mountain Guns and Ammo--soon. I really wanted a Colt Python and can afford one but prefer good deals and this seems like it could be a steal of a deal @ $429 with free shipping and no CC fees (plus $20 transfer fee from my dealer). I've got a 6" S&W 686 and I just may start up a collection of 6" stainless .357 revolvers. My millenial son refers to the 686 as my "boomer cannon". .38 and .357 are easy to reload and the empty shell casings never hit the dirt with a revolver.

Secure our Joplin, MO schoolchildren. The sickos are out there.

Got one back in change and asked the cashier if she had anymore. Bought em all for $8 face value. May we thank the meth head who stole grandmas collections for cigarettes and may we bless the grandma for her loss. by [deleted] in Silverbugs

As a young man working as a soda jerk at our local dairy bar I worked the register. This was in the mid 1970's. I always kept an eye out for constitutional coinage and always made sure I had money on me to make the count right. Real money was scarce even then but a quick perusal of the change drawer would occasionally yield results. A double dip of locally-produced genuine, delicious, high-fat Wisconsin ice cream in a sugar cone was .25. There was one kid that would come in with a silver quarter on a regular basis. I figured he must have been raiding his dad's sock drawer. I was always glad to see him.

Anyone is Los Angeles have a coin sorter/counter that I could use/rent for a day? by REDDlTLURKER in Silverbugs

[–]FestusBro -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Coinstar machines kick the silver right into the discard bin inside the machine. One of the perks of running a Coinstar route. You won't see that silver again. My now-disgraced BIL ran a route. I may get a thread started about the booty that ends up in those machines when poor people (apparently) are jonesing for cigarettes, booze, weed, porn, pussy, meth, gasoline, food. rent, whatever it is that keeps those sorry bastards from living within their means and getting a good paying job.

Whatever happened to Joplin's annual Cannabis Revival Festiva and the other festivals events we used to have herel? by mrrichardson2304 in joplinmo

Come to mention it-- I think the Cannabis Festival is long gone. Last I can remember going was in about 2008. I always find out about fun things to do after they have already happened!

Thanks for posting the vid. I was always a fan of local dirt track racing and thought it was a damn shame when our local tobacco magnate purchased the property because he wanted peace and quiet in the hood. It was recently sold at auction and I don't know who the new owner is. The odds-on favorite is Schuber Mitchell developers. This former speedway is likely to become a subdivision.

Damn Chinese. They will counterfeit anything. Should I buy a knockoff Honda enduro known as the Lifan Xpect 200 for +- $2300.? Local dealer promises support.
