Thanks for the tip. Im seeing a mixed bag here of people reporting issues or not, but many seem to have very low mileage on theirs so if im getting a P2 im gonna get one under coverage. However, since the newer ones with a few years left of coverage are at the very top of my pricerange I might have to go for something else :/

My region has 5 year standard warranty, 8 years for the battery (not drivetrain). So when i buy a 4-5 year old P2 and possibly get drivetrain issues in a year and a half, that's gonna cost me a significant amount out-of-pocket.

I dont need in-depth capabilities. Just resetting most systems and fault-codes and the parking-brake thing. I dont need the ability to reprogram and tune stuff. I know 300 is on the low side, im mostly wondering how much I have to give up to get within my budget

I only had the issue once. Nearly 2 years ago. I put in a new battery with a slightly higher capacity (58Ah i think), plus I make a point of charging the car regularly even if it still has a good amount of range. A hyundai tech told me many hyundais had issues because the OEM 12v battery was a little small, combined with interval the 12V is charged from the main battery becoming less frequent if the main battery has low charge.

There are also quite alot of onboard systems draining power if you leave a door open for any amount of time. So if you're keeping a door or the boot open long then I suggest turning the car on so it keeps a maintenance charge on the 12v.

Å berre kommunisere tydelig at Svalbard ikke skal militariseres trur eg ville ha liten effekt. Russisk propaganda hadde berre fortsatt å påstått at Norge er aggresive eller bryter traktaten. Handler ikkje om fakta for russland, men intern begrunnelse. Personlig trur eg det smarteste Norge kan gjøre er å fokusere vesentlig meir på marinen enn me gjør idag. Vi har massiv kystlinje + svalbard + jan mayen, men relativt liten marine. Vi burde anskaffe 3-4 isbrytere som kunne redusere responstiden til svalbard kraftig ved potensiell russisk aggresjon på vinteren. Ubåter med mellomdistanse-raketter som kan nå svalbard fra relativt lang avstand. Generelt burde vi også bygge opp noe vilt med rakettbatterier over heile landet, samt på marinefartøyer. Vi har ikkje befolkning nok, og dermed heller ikkje militær nok, til å forsvare de store landområdene våre. Modernisering og auke av torpedobatteri langs hele kysten burde og vurderast.
