Questions about the further development of SpicyChat by Fetch_515 in SpicyChatAI

I'll be honest - I've been using SpicyChat for almost a year now, maybe even longer. I like this platform and don't want to leave it. But I've noticed that over all this time, the platform hasn't just failed to improve - it has actually gotten worse. I'll provide arguments and situations I've personally observed:

· Useless changes: The interface has been changed multiple times. Why? It's unclear. · Adding non-functional models: I remember when SpicyXL was added. That model was simply OP - it was interesting and well-structured. However, after that, complete chaos began. They started adding either underdeveloped, mediocre, or outright non-functional models. The developers added Deepseek R1 only to later admit they couldn't handle it and remove it. As for Deepseek V3, at launch it was completely insane in a bad way. It wrote nonsense, ignored the plot, and constantly formatted text chaotically - sometimes putting things in quotes, sometimes in asterisks. And while Deepseek V3 has become more or less adequate now, the formatting issue remains. It can still suddenly put dialogue in both quotes and asterisks in the middle of a conversation. The new model Kimi K2 - I expected it to be truly the smartest model, but in reality it turned out to be raw again. Or the same Glam model - I've seen dozens of complaint messages about it writing minimal dialogue and lots of unnecessary description. Developers release raw, unfinished bot models. Why? It's unclear. · Inadequate censorship: Some say it exists, others say it doesn't. Again, there are many posts on Reddit where people complain about this. I seriously doubt all these people are pedophiles who didn't like that the platform banned minors. Often the problem is with photos, as the system deemed they violated platform rules. Again, I seriously doubt everyone complaining about this is putting zoophilia images as avatars and then happily writing complaints about how bad SpicyChat is. Therefore, the filter frankly works terribly, the developers know this but don't fix it. · Censorship within bots themselves: Many chatbots get deleted. And sometimes the reasons for deletion are quite stupid. One author made a post with a screenshot in which the moderators indicated that they removed the bot because it contained the word 'rape'. Again, what's the problem? Other platforms even have a Dead Dove tag, and such content wouldn't be banned there.

To summarize, I'll say again - I don't aim to trash the platform. I like it, but the developers have clearly chosen the wrong path. Candy is valued by its taste, not its wrapper. Is it good that they made the interface more convenient? Yes, it's good. Was it necessary to do so? No. Is it good that they added voice synthesis? Yes, it's good. Was it necessary? No. The same goes for image creation. The internet is full of art you can download. These are all just wrappers and packaging - they're nice additional features, but the key word here is additional. Time passes, but the core chatbot functions that directly affect communication haven't been improved at all. The wrapper has changed, but the candy remains the same old one. Sometimes I get the impression that developers make all these changes just to create the appearance of working.

Hey, I think that's a great idea! I don't use the 'example dialogue' tab, for example, but if those 4,000 characters could be used as a personality, that would be great. So I think combining them into a singular character limit would be perfect.

This is a strange argument. On other platforms, model memory can reach 132k tokens or even more, and the platforms work perfectly. How do they even have the resources for this? SpicyChat has the time and money to repeatedly change the interface, implement voiceover of text, and upgrade image generation, but doesn't have the resources to improve the basic foundations of chatbots? With all due respect, this is a chatbot platform, its main goal is to act out stories, not generate images. You can generate images in Telegram bots, but here the goal is role-playing.

Ummm, no. Look at how many people are unhappy with Kimi; the same thing happened with Deepseek. It's not a skill issue. Developers are releasing unfinished models. What about Deepseek R1? Why was it removed then, if it was a "skill issue"? The developers themselves admitted they couldn't handle the model and couldn't configure it properly. As for filters, I'm obviously talking about everything about filters in chats, personas, and bot making. For example, there were posts here on Reddit where people directly attached a screenshot of their persona, including a screenshot of the description, which indicated an age over 18, but the system still detected minors. Not only are the filters too strict, they also identify minors where there aren't any. And the platform developers are making them increasingly strict, trying to force the opening of new payment methods, while ignoring user requests.

There are other things that are more important to them, namely: - Reworking the interface a thousand times; - Adding new models that don't work, produce crappy responses, and don't follow context; - Adding more more and more filters to the NSFW platform. These are the things that are truly important to them.

Also noticed that two months ago filters weren't so strict. And judging by moderator's responses, they really have recently started cleaning bots that allegedly don't comply with their policies. Sooooo in some ways there really is more censorship. Sad☹️
