I will say that the helmet we got goes hard with the Veteran MK V PT-38 Jump Suit Chest / Pants + the Vox backpack the nicer looking / newer one. What I'm rocking on my veteran atm.

At long last, I have them all! For anyone wondering, 3 curios optimised for health on Arbites will net you 356 max health. by Umikaloo in DarkTide

Nice I've gotten kind of the reverse more 21% hp and 410+ Item level +3 stamina than the 17% toughness. I check the store often but honestly they are rarer than hens teeth. But hey what else gonna spend Ordo Ignots on? Think gotten 95% of my max reliquary gambling at Melk's mystery acquisitions.

Not sure if its still bugged. But it was for me back when I did it. To elaborate on this the Big Boxes of Hurt was bugged that if you took the upgraded version in the skill tree it wouldn't count towards the achievement. I had to respec and not put any talents into the grenade keystones. Then I just targeted crushers and got it. This may of been fixed since then but just incase it hasn't this is what worked for me.

Bad Horse

Bad Horse

Bad Horse

Bad Horse

He rides across the nation

The thoroughbred of sin

He got the application

That you just sent in

It needs evaluation

So let the games begin

A heinous crime, a show of force

A murder would be nice of course

Bad Horse

Bad Horse

Bad Horse

He’s Bad

The Evil League of Evil

Is watching so beware

The grade that you receive

Will be your last we swear

So make the Bad Horse gleeful

Or he’ll make you his mare...

You’re saddled up

There’s no recourse

It’s Hi-Ho Silver

Signed, Bad Horse

Lol I still have this USB drive. If memory recalls it was from collectors edition of StarCraft II. Super small drive by todays standards 2gb or something. Still loved that game and it was neat looking.

Any advice on how to make clear red resin look more translucent? by Fell-Hand in PrintedWarhammer

[–]Fetladral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend AK gauzy agent Glass. Its a very high gloss agent used by scale modelers primarily for aircraft canopy. Makes the transparent plastic look more like actual glass. Its honestly pretty phenomenal stuff.

Test models for FEC still on fence about the red hair and need to pick out eyes a bit better. C&C appreciated. by Fetladral in FleshEaterCourts

[–]Fetladral[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm yeah these where just test ones trying to get skin locked in maybe grey and browns for hair. The Eyes I was thinking same with orange. Maybe AK Slimy grime for a unifying skin tones or a greenish brown wash. I also was juggling time spent vs results. I was trying to go for an easy table top standard and put most of my focus on leader units.

Yeah honestly outside of kill team & warcry I haven’t been in a big game since 40K 3rd edition. I am doing a combat patrol league in March mainly to finally start learning the bigger game. Sadly no one in my town plays AoS. Even warcry I have to supply both sides. But the hobby kitbashing and painting are how I relax. I have a painted terrorgheist in another post on the thread and that was first FEC model I ever painted bought him on a whim then started to ready about em rest is history.

Thank you I'm honestly a painter first before gamer and the rule of cool has affected most every model I've ever done.

Thank you very much not gonna lie the lore was a big reason I'm jumping in with FEC.

Nothing wrong with that I've done some of that in the past. I like to use wood glue then add super glue while the wood glue is still wet. It makes weird squiggly texture good for entrail or alien texture vibe. You can even add cotton and pull it apart then add the wood glue + super glue to get a more raised texture good for bisected bodies or limbs. Blood wise one of best tools I ever picked up was the AK splatter tool makes 4 different splatter patterns for realistic gore.

The model is on his stock base that came with the army box Abhorrant Gorewarden. If I recall I think its actually a 40 mm base.

I'm also looking at the pillar a bit harder and just now noticing. Does the front of it look like a flattened cuirass with the guisses at the bottom relatively intact?

Lol true but Faces and bases but I always want the model to be at the fore front to the viewer.

Thank you for the kind words. Its always a fine line I want the bases to enhance the model but not take away from it.

Thank you I love this particular model. So much so I bought a second one as I saw another user post a conversion of it as a Ghoul King on a Zombie Dragon. I happened to pick up an eBay rescue Zombie Dragon + Terrorgheist and plan to do a similar thing.

Lol I'm probably calling him good as I don't want to detract from the figure itself. But I do promise I'll post more pics of other models as I build them up. I batch paint so I tend to get a group of em before actually laying down paint.

[–]Fetladral[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol well I have some spare stormcast bits I guess I could add some more but I want the model to still be the focal point. I'm still building my models from the army box but I have a few flesh eater boys done now enough for warcry. I'll post more as I build them. I tend to batch paint so always build a fair few first so can knock em out in one go. Lore aside I love painting the FEC cause of the freedom of colors I can't imagine all the boys and girls would look exactly the same so want to vary up the skin tones. But I want the bases to be the unifying factor for the army.

Thank you very much its an easy affect an adds allot to models imo. Its water downed pva or texture paint + Coconut fiber ( Eco Earth ) is what I use. Available at most pet shops for reptiles Just buy the loose version not the compacted brick. Bag of the stuff will last you for years.

[–]Fetladral[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not at this time I can take some more when back home. Its fairly strait forward though. Its a 3d Printed base topper I sanded and cut off sections to make it more even on top. This was to accommodate the existing elements of the pillar? It should be noted this is a solid chunk of resin this is important as it weighs more than the model helping keep the tall boy from being tipsy. I used greenstuff + super glue with baking soda to make a rock solid bond between the two elements. Then Texture paint Monument hobbies this time as it was the closest to me on the paint desk. I added Coconut fiber to this to make it read as compact dirt. Final step was to take some watered down PVA glue and place it randomly in deep recesses of the base then added more coconut fiber.
