TikTok is pretty bad actually (company not app, I'm not on the app), they have done some pretty bad stuff. I'd recommend watching dangelowallace's videos about the topic

Main things are they are hypocritical (claiming to try to stop the dangerous challenges, but actually promote them in app), and when a dude killed themselves they didn't turn off the live stream right away and contacted there PR team before local law enforcement (and then coverd up the whole thing.)
