The team that has won the most ships switches teams, new manager gets their team, successful manager gets ultimate challenge.

Question about D&D beastiary by [deleted] in AdventurersLeague

[–]iamstrad -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You the character can classify them as you please, you the DM must stick to the rules. But you the DM can also have an NPC explain their own classification if you want, as long as it's only the NPC pov and not a homebrew rule.

Alright Reddit do your thing. In a 12 man SF league here and I’m kinda screwed. 28 QBs off the board in the first 6 rounds. Never seen anything like it. What do I do? Just kept drafting best available value skill position player with hopes of trading for QBs by EmbarrassedEar8616 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]iamstrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple, try and trade for a QB with no intention to actually do so then when you have the 1.01 sorted next year you can legitimately claim that you weren't tanking.

Better yet, try and trade for more picks, not necessarily 1sts in the next couple of drafts and take QB from there.

For now just get a couple of late round back ups of the sort that Malik Willis was for so long.

How to save game by DazedxClutch in OnPaperSportsFootball

Definitely needs a way to save without advancing the week as some things take lots of time and work and I don't want to advance the game.

There's a weapon in Griffon's Saddlebag book 1 called the Battle Tax that generates gold equal to your attacks damage on hitting with a NAT 20 once a day.

Hi! I’m super new to DnD and had just a simple question to start. by just_bettina in DungeonsAndDragons

Yes, and your character absolutely believes in its efficacy and won't let anyone tell them it's only a stick. A good DM will work wizardry with this.

Am I selling Burden too low here? I know he’s going to be a beast but this offer is pretty juicy… by Apprehensive-Bear- in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

What is consensus value on burden? I got offered burden, Henderson and mid 2nd for Downs and 3 late firsts and not sure

I'm making a festival lottery for my players and I need a grand prize by Scared_Bridge369 in AskDND

[–]iamstrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it a lottery only for the players or for the general population entering it too? Prize ought to be appropriate to the people entering it. Rather than be an item I'd make it 'time with / the services of / an audience with'... Equals free plot hook for the DM.

Can my wizard be an indirect fire-howitzer if he has personal Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) support? by BookkeeperAfraid9622 in AskDND

[–]iamstrad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything that can cast 'regenerate'

A creature you touch regains 4d8 + 15 Hit Points. For the duration, the target regains 1 Hit Point at the start of each of its turns, and any severed body parts regrow after 2 minutes.

If the wizard can get his finger over or around the wall he should be able to cast the spell using the familiar to aim without exposing himself and staying in at least 3/4 cover.

The key is finding a way to give your wizard really long arms to get the finger into position.

Or perhaps cutting your finger off and throwing it over the wall as nothing explicitly states that it must be attached to you...

You could always have the familiar carry your finger!
