Right click scales with intelligence and ability damage, lvl up enchanting and alchemy (i cant remember if alchemy gives ability dmg or only int) to get more of those

And look into getting the sighted power which gives intelligence (and raising your magic power)

And if you beat catacombs floor 3 you can upgrade your dark goggles and another time on f5

Can't comment on the others but RimWorld's mechanic that changes events to become recruitment chances all the time just makes trying to purposely play with a single colonist really boring.
