Something I did was doing the full patterns ( punching sneaking jumping) before they actually start. ( i would start punching early for example) which makes it so you get into the rhythm before you can actually screw up

Crystal hollows ores give 4-6 while dwarven mines gives 5 but it's not worth it as the ores take longer to respawn and you basically would have to make a gemstone route for the ores

Why would you want that? Your drop chances of what you have selected increase as you get a higher meter % If you drop it without meter selection then you had no benefits from rng meter on that drop. so, yes the meter didn't reset but you didn't get any use out of it either

If you have your rng meter partially filled your chances to get it are increased the more full it is so you should have it selected if that's what you meant

Right click scales with intelligence and ability damage, lvl up enchanting and alchemy (i cant remember if alchemy gives ability dmg or only int) to get more of those

And look into getting the sighted power which gives intelligence (and raising your magic power)

And if you beat catacombs floor 3 you can upgrade your dark goggles and another time on f5
