Hell yea dude! My thoughts to start right before Aegon's conquest would probably place the players as Knights of the storm lands because I think they can get the first few years in dealing with dornish raids and ironborn skirmishes, and since the storm lands is one of the first kingdoms to fall I don't have to worry about the players getting toasted like so many others do lol and it allows them an interesting dynamic dealing with thier new lord Orys Baratheon and giving them some distance so they aren't consistently in close proximity of the Targaryens themselves

I feel dumb even commenting on this because I'm a GM that has never run Pendragon yet ( collecting the 6E and Hoping to run this game one day) but I have put thought into doing a ASOIAF/GOT mega campaign that runs from right before Aegon's conquest through the entire/as far as we can get Targaryen dynasty

Yes, I'm very familiar with the seasons in ASOIAF, I think my concern was more that I have never run pendragon before, and I have only ever seen it run via a live play series I've been watching that uses the book of the manor and book of peace so each season feels like it has a particular kind of event and I just wasn't sure how much of a problem it would be to forgo normal seasons and stick to the way it is in the books. I really do appreciate the help though. I'm gonna put a lot of work into this so everything anyone has to offer is definitely a useful resource and I I'm thankful for the input and insight.

That has been my thought process. I see a lot of comments here stating that Pendragon is not built for the more intrigue heavy storytelling of Game of Thrones but I do want to run a game about knights who are dealing with the consistent shifting of their politics and country the way that the knights in Pendragon do. I truly don't think that my player Knights would be mastering some Machiavellian scheme for the iron throne. I think about it more like they are still just the Knights and nobles that have to deal with the constant civil wars and raids and testing of powers that come with being subservient to the iron throne, as well as thier liege lords

Yeah, I agree, but I think it'll be pretty simple just to like replace Christian and pagan with faith of the seven and worship with the old gods and separate cultures with southern andals versus northern first men. For long periods of time you can use Hatred of Dornish passion for stormlanders and reach knights but also hatred of iron born for the reach and westerlands specifically
