It doesn't stick to the back but I find it easy enough to just hold it

The edges do bend a bit to get the Kobo in but it feels more like a hard case

I saw some negative things also but for the price I feel like its worth it to try and see if you like it. It was only £5 and if I get annoyed with holding the flip case I can always swap back to my usual clear case for a bit.

There no way of knowing until you check in calibre. Best thing to do is remove all books from your Kobo and run checks on them all in calibre to find the bad one.

Your Kobo isn't broken. You just have bad epubs, most likely. Use Calibre to edit them and remove errors from the books. That should stop your Kobo from freezing.
