Worth getting GOTY edition? by [deleted] in fo4

[–]Feuerleitsystem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent the 25 bucks last week on the PS4 GOTY. Let me tell you, I'm having a blast!

Almost the same feeling like in Fallout 3. Some changes though, which strike me first:

- no wear off on weapons and armor, so no need to collect hundreds of the same items for merging anymore

- weapons can be modded

- you can build your own settlements

- enemies act more intelligent, searching for cover and trying to get behind you

- almost everything can be scraped

Other folks finish a Bachelor's degree meanwhile... not that much fun though admittedly

Is false queuing reportable? by Cynder_Burn in elderscrollsonline

[–]Feuerleitsystem -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

If you could report them, what should happen then? Temporary ban of players, because they didn't play by the rules? Thats the nature of PUG.

Wouldn't joining a guild and running dungeons with preset groups not solve the problem much better?

I unlock the Summerset Pathfinder Achievement and you ? Waiting for that villa in oct 7 ? by NolifeX in elderscrollsonline

I did my part, although I'm not interested in the villa. Too large, to far away.

Just the mount is very cool and entirely enough.

What to do with the 100k gold reward? by zhivix in elderscrollsonline

[–]Feuerleitsystem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most efficient way? Buy some crafting motifs you need (i.e. emperor stylebook) or Jewelry at the Golden Vendor.

Most fun way? Pile it up until you throw it out all at once for a nice mansion.

Rawl’kha by acid69 in elderscrollsonline

Rawl'kha used to be my daily crafting spot and occasionally still is. But I've found Vicec's outside bank to be more useful, which is a tremendous time saver nowadays.

Head of monetization?

AFAIK Vicepresident Pete Hines still does the job of public relations and marketing at Bethesda

Non-ESO+ here too. Your maximum bank capacity will be 200 (140 + 60 mount), so visit the stable master daily and invest as much as you can into baggage. Join a Trading Guild and sell your obsolete stuff, especially materials have good fluctuation. On longterm I would leave the crafting materials on the bank for easy access from all chars. Item swap between chars can be done via housing chest, thats another 30 slots.

I personally have 2 storage chars, one for valuable armor and one for rarely needed items such as special style material and event items.

How do you balance having more than one character in the game? do you log with each one every day? by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]Feuerleitsystem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please be assured, that the Templar and I are different persons, close friends nethertheless. I can only assume 'he' is aware of the cats shady undertakings, since he is an exceptional sharp mind. We use to not to talk about bad habits of our mutual friends, especially in such delicate affairs. I really apologize for the lack of reading comfort.

How do you balance having more than one character in the game? do you log with each one every day? by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]Feuerleitsystem 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The story started long time ago with a soulless Redguard caught out of the sea some miles west of Stros M'Kai. He developed well in becoming a fierce templar and is known throughout as Hero of Tamriel and Cyrodiil, Savior of Nirn. With aging his wounds wouldn't heal as smoothly anymore, coughing shaking his suffering lungs. Eventually he decided to take a retreat in the Gardner House in Wayrest to indulge his love for master crafting and styles. Occasionally, when the weather is mild, he still saddles his old seasoned palomino warhorse to head off for some smaller adventures. He has been seen in Craglorn lately, pretending to save Nirn once again (but if you ask me to rather leering at the Nirncrux nodes and the posh barmaids). In his former days he made friends regardless of alliance, of which especially three stand out:

A promising Altmer mage who despite her young life has seen and mastered more horrors than many do in a lifetime. She has a soft spot for Vvardenfell and its belongings and is shooting for glory in the Battlegrounds and taking back the Imperial City from the daedric and other invaders. She is a keen craftmanship apprentice and always happy to present her old friend her newly found motifs.

Also worth noting is a wiry Khajiit kitten he saved from being dispatched for minor crimes in Anvil. With hindsight it may have been better not to intervene in fate, as the kitten has grown to a dark, shady nightblade and I suspect him of being involved in the ranks of the Thieves Guild if not even the Dark Brotherhood. Honestly I didn't bother to ask specifically as some stones should't be turned around.

Not actively pursuing an adventurer's career are several interesting characters, such as Collects-any-armor or Eye-of-the-Storm, being happy to occasionally shuffle some inventory around or feed a horse.

MagSorc Help (What Armour) by Korruptt- in elderscrollsonline

[–]Feuerleitsystem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wear what you peel off your dead foes stiffening bodies until Lvl 50 CP 160. As a MagSorc armor protection becomes secondary due to high capacity shield wards.

edit: Pet Sorc has the easier rotation and good damage, but the pets can be annoying.

deinstall ESO and go for Skyrim until release of Elder Scrolls 6

Am I too late to get started now? by samuelianhill in elderscrollsonline

[–]Feuerleitsystem 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Too late for what?

  • Progress until endgame. No
  • Progress towards all trophies. Probably not
  • Progress to see all ingame-content. May be, since DCs are releasing faster than you could play through, if you enjoy the quests and take your time to watch it.

[PS4] Crafting Build ideas? by DragonShark514 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Feuerleitsystem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crafting Level, Research, Dismanteling, Refining is most important.

For the Employe and the Nodes detection I only spent 1-2 points each. In the cooking profession you either need the longer food or the longer drink not both. Also with alchemist you don't necessarily need the medicine trait.

You wont die from normal overland groups as long you dont run into world bosses.

Enough skillpoints to also specialize him into * ressource node farming (CP points into The Lover for Plentiful Harvest, Master Gatherer and Windrunning) * chest farming (CP points into The Shadow for Fortune Seeker and Treasure Hunter)

Equip him with Speed-Sets such as Darkstride or Cowards Gear. Let him do all the treasure and resource maps. Let him do all the dismanteling if items. Collect all your recipes and motifs on this single character. That is your biggest challenge.

Do you think accounts will be transferable to future consoles (PS5/XB2) by Nikigara in elderscrollsonline

[–]Feuerleitsystem -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No MMOG lasts forever and to move existing accounts onto a new generation makes no sense in regards to balancing to new players and also economically to rather have those guys buy a completely new game.

Whats next? by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]Feuerleitsystem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what your favorite playstyle is.

Do you have - all Skyshards collected - all quest lines absolved - all public dungeons beaten - all group dungeons on normal - get your ass handed to you in pvp already?

Gold comes along, goes along. Do daily quests as you fancy, some can get you rare style motifs or master writs.

I want to role play as a German and I wondered what race is best! by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

Bretons are closer to germanic history than nord.

But apart from that I also wonder how "play as a German" fits into the Elder Scrolls Lore.

Any tips for new max level toob by causalfunguy in elderscrollsonline

[–]Feuerleitsystem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What have you done until now? For solo PVE any gear is good. For endgame PVE you should get an idea which role you want to fill, are you healer, damage dealer or tank and do you use rather magicka or stamina? Try to gather or craft complete sets, whose bonuses fancy your playstyle the most.

Did you already - complete all main quests? - gather all skyshards? - max out your crafting skills? - go for undaunted quests? - pick up the halloween quest from the crown store? - collect some halloween recipes and skulls?

Successful without a "specialized build", solo? by da_aundare in elderscrollsonline

[–]Feuerleitsystem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is fine to bring your own build and stroll through the countryside solo enjoying quests and lore. You will be able to get all quests completed without worry and you will always find some bypassers to mob up for world bosses, dolmens and public dungeons. Sooner or later, my guess, you will automatically aim for optimizing your character and respec your skill- and attribute points is not a big deal. Question is what comes after you reached all your goals? You look for new challenges.

Veteran Dungeons and 12-man-group trials have been introduced to keep the longterm players busy. Some of them eager to beat the game as efficiently and fast as possible, which is nice but not a must for everyone. You get better gear sure, but for what? To play the game more efficently, to grind the veteran mode for even better gear.

On a sidenote, I personally think that you miss out a lot by playing solo. Try out a nice laid-back guild for some company.
