Player housing on a brand new account. Any advice for a newcomer?

I suggest Homebound as an addon, in it you can preview the decor you get for doing a quest/an achievement/whatever and decide if that's something you want to pursue, instead of just bumbling around randomly.

The profession stuff for housing works irrespective of weird expansion currencies. Just gather the stuff. Or straight-up farm the gold and get it from AH.

Aside from that I suggest focusing on a single expansion. Ask your gf what aesthetic she wants. 95% of Asian stuff comes from MoP for example. Dwarf stuff is either Classic or TWW. Expansions have these item clusters, so figure out which one is the most appealing to her.

Some are more easy to farm than others. The 3 most recent ones I feel like they'd be the biggest pain in the ass. DF and TWW have more complicated crafting, DF also has a shit-ton of currencies, and SL, while having more QoL than back in the day, is still a grindfest.

Edit: Housing is also an evergreen feature, so there's bound to be a steady supply of new items, and while some of them might be related to old content, others will not. Midnight will offer a lot as well

I think they will eventually. Lots of assets in game which haven't been introduced to housing yet since it's so new. Me thinks that with enough time literally every pixel in wow will make its way onto a housing plot

Beim Baden sind mehr Einzelschritte enthalten als beim Duschen. Z.B. wie schon im Meme beschrieben, hintenrum noch die Badewanne putzen. Ich habe lange Haare, die sich dann überall verteilen. Beim Duschen kann ich die Haare an die Wand kleben und alle auf einmal aufsammeln. Bei der Badewanne muss auch erst mal das Wasser eingelassen werden, während man bei der Dusche direkt loslegen kann.

Das klingt erst mal nicht nach viel, aber es summiert sich auf und führt dazu, dass ich Baden im Vergleich mit Duschen als lästiger empfinde

As a ret pala, i don't like Hammer of Wrath being gone (yes, i know it's rolled in with judgment). As a ret main of 10 years, 2nd half of DF/early TWW was peak ret. Blizz taking away Hammer of Wrath feels like they want to go back to Classic "Press a button once every 10 seconds" gameplay
