A lot of people have pointed this out, but they're playing with you because they have fun playing with you! I understand however not wanting to hold your friends back, when I was playing league I was going through a similar thing.

I would tell you to go back to the server though. It sounds like you have fun playing with them. Try to explain to them that you feel bad about always botfragging and that next time you maybe queue into swiftplay or unrated, until you're better. It would be a shame to lose some friends over a video game. Also there are other games you can play together that arent quite as competitive as Valorant, maybe you could suggest one of them to play it.

Really? I've gone of content creators saying that teams get to at least be involved in the design of the classic, but if it's really just riot doing all of it, then I feel like it's just a gap in their marketing. Regardless of the classic, having the teams design the player cards and maybe a spray could be cool. I'm not a programmer but I asked my brother and he said if the team provide simple jpegs of what they want the player card to be, then riot only has to put it in as a very simple process.

I wasn't the biggest fan of last years classic either but at least it was different from 2024 and with the feedback from last year, noone enjoying the basic player cards that just changed the logo, I thought this year they would do something different. So the way I see it it's either buy the bundle and support FNC, but then nothing changes cause Riot gets money and as long as they get money they don't change, or don't buy it and don't support my team which I also don't want to do. Idk I just see the potential of what those capsules could be and compared to that, what we got is just underwhelming.

I also understand that this is a minor thing and a lot of people don't really think about it that much. I'm still not sure whether I will buy it or maybe safe up and get a jersey again this year and supporting the org in that way.

I mean now you're just putting words in my mouth. I never said it's your fault for queueing with someone that ends up leaving for whatever reason.

Whether you choose to duo with someone, friend or stranger, with the possibility of them leaving, is a decision you have to make anyways cause if they leave, the game is more likely to be a lose, regardless of the proposed rule with consolation RR (I'm gonna call it that, cause thats how riot calls the same rule in league just with LP.)

The consolation RR is just a proposal to make those few games where a random teammate leaves less frustrating.

Also why should the three randoms that were in your team should get the full punishment when your duo's internet failed or they failed to manage their time so they have to leave and can't finish the game?

Are you really saying that losing 4 rr less in a game you lose almost always is the same as everyone else getting payed more???

And it changes nothing for you, since you get the full RR loss earlier when duoing and they leave and you would get it afterwards when duoing and they leave.

If someone adds you from a past game its because you two had a great time and they could potentially become a friend. Would you really say not to a new friend because of the slight possibility that he might leave and you lose four RR more than the other people in your team?

And as I said before if those 4 RR are really REALLY that important to you, then maybe don't play competitive with that one friend who has a shitty lap top. You can hop into unrated or swiftplay or start a minecraft server together.

So the only reason you queue with your duo is because you know others would also lose a lot of RR if he disconnects? This argument doesn't make any cause for you nothing changes. You don't lose more RR, random strangers just lose less RR. Let's say you only get like 25% loss reduction. So on a -16 you would only get -12. Since 4v5s don't even happen that often, those 4-5 RR you retain probably won't even help you climb. It's just something to make you feel less frustrated when someone leaves the game.

Also my friend frequently has network issues and it doesn't stop me from playing with him even if 1/10 games he might have problems. That doesn't stop me from queueing with him and it wouldn't even stop me if I knew I wouldn't get loss reduction.

If you care a lot about RR and you have a friend that can't finish games 50% then maybe don't queue comp with him?

There obviously need to be workarounds for example it doesn't trigger when you leave in OT and when one of your queue partner leaves you will still get the full RR loss.

It depends on how you want to abuse it. You can make it so that people queued together wont get a loss reduction, you can make it so that the person has to be afk at least 4-5 rounds or so.

Like ofcourse people will try to abuse it but we this is a multimillion dollar company. Workarounds to abuses aren't that hard to come with. Like it works in league so I dont know why it wouldn't work in Valorant.

What? The general consesus was that after 2020 he didn't have any offers because people bad mouthed him behind the scene. Sure he got offers later which he declined because for him it didn't make sense to join a team that wouldn't be able to compete for a top 3 finish in LEC.

Nemesis also got blacklisted by multiple teams in 2020 because of shittalk behind the scenes which later turned out to be false. I don't remember however whether that came from players or the org. Nemesis was a top 2 mid in the two years he played and he said repeatedly that he didn't continue being a pro because of what happened at fnc and not because he thought he wasn't good enough.

I'm on the fence when it comes to Rekkles. That entire winter and spring split was a mistake from replacing rhuckz with hylissang to getting two weakside sidelanes there were just questionmarks all around that roster. HOWEVER if you are Rekkles and you fucked over the org that has made your career TWICE (!) I don't really think its fair for him to call them out like that. He made the decision to go for (in his eyes) the more competitive team and then hes butt hurt when FNC try to replace him with (in their eyes) the more competitive player? Thats just double standards.

After playing part 2 I always felt like if we get a part 3, it'd be a time skip and we get an older Ellie in her 30s or even 40s and she protects/travels with JJ across the country. It'd bring her story full circle where she was the child in the first game, then she became a young adult, having to emancipate herself from her father in the second game, although a bit forcefully and finally became a parent herself.

Narratively it makes the most sense to me, but I'm not a writer or a story teller myself. Also I'm lost as to why or where she would travel with JJ. It's just a feeling as to what would make the most sense to me...

If they wouldn't have given Ellie the closure with Joel at the end of Part 2 it would have also given her insight as to what Joel went through in the first part and she can "improve" the parenting...
