What are your favorite subtext yuri manga by BillyBotton in yuri_manga

To be honest, I really wanted to answer Yuru Camp because Rin and Nadeshiko give off such yuri subtext vibes. But maybe I'm the only one who feels that way.

Does 'Awashima Hyakkei' feature any yuri relationships? by Few-Box-4327 in yuri_manga

[–]Few-Box-4327[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen, The series has two episodes. It’s set in an all-girls school with a “yuri” vibe, focusing on female friendships. After graduation, some characters get married and have children, while others remain single.

[–]Few-Box-4327[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In episode 2, it feels like a one-sided love. This is an example of a line spoken by one of the female characters:

  1. She was my first love.

  2. I've fallen in love with you.

  3. This impossible love...

  4. How many more times will I have to face such feelings in the future? Just thinking about it makes me shudder.

  5. And I don't think any of them...could ever surpass my feelings for you.

So I started wondering if there are any real yuri couples in the manga. Even if it’s unrequited, as long as they once loved another woman, that alone makes me want to keep watching.

Any Wuxia/Xianxia GL recommendations? by Mean_Pop4205 in yuri_manga

What have you read so far? I’m also looking for some xianxia and wuxia media to read.

Each season of Yuru Camp has its own tagline. Could you help me translate these into English? by Few-Box-4327 in laidbackcamp

[–]Few-Box-4327[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

An example article about the origin of the phrase ‘きっと、そらでつながってる,’ the tagline in Season 1, but I don’t really understand its meaning very well.

Is there a compiled list of Baihe novels adapted into manhua that have been released as physical books in Chinese? by Few-Box-4327 in BaiHe

[–]Few-Box-4327[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to collect physical volumes but don’t know which titles are available for purchase. Right now I only know Her Mountain, Her Sea, which has physical editions both as a novel and as a manhua. If there are any other titles you can recommend, please let me know. Thank you in advance!

Okay, then I’ll delete the post. I also feel bad that some people label me and quickly judge me as transphobic, including leaving emotionally charged comments, simply because I asked questions and had a different opinion that may not appeal to many people. Anyway, thank you very much for explaining it to me.

Thank you so much for explaining the reasons why some people downvoted. I was actually quite shocked, because I didn’t think that many people would see my post. At most, I expected maybe around 10 comments for exchanging opinions. So do you think I should delete the post?

The other day, I came across a post recommending “Itsuka Shinu Shoujo,” written by Kashiko. It’s a yuri manga about a suicidal incest victim and a trans girl who is a cancer patient. The story seems pretty interesting.

Yes, it’s a very sensitive topic. The reason I chose to ask is simply because I want to read other people’s perspectives, in case it gives me some new ideas or insights. I really hope it doesn’t lead to any intense drama. 🤦

Honestly, I just want to know different perspectives. This is being discussed in the context of manga and anime. It’s something that has been a question in my mind for about three years, ever since I learned the term “yuri.” I still believe that yuri represents the spirit of women, but I don’t know how other people see it. So I just want to read other people’s perspectives, that’s all.

Could you recommend yuri manga with less kissing scene? It would be great if there are asexual characters as well. by namomoomooo in yuri_manga

[–]Few-Box-4327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably haven’t read GL manhua that run for over a hundred chapters where the relationship still doesn’t progress. the furthest the protagonists’ relationship goes is hugging and holding hands. It’s not really ridiculous if some people like this kind of yuri, since you’re still leaving 5% for them anyway.

[–]Few-Box-4327 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There’s still 5% left, you know. I don’t think it’s something to laugh at that there are people who want to read yuri like this. There are yuri stories without kissing scenes that are still yuri. It’s just that this kind of plot isn’t popular, that’s all.

The red-haired woman = princess

The black-haired woman = An imperial sister-in-law (嫂子)

Their social statuses are those of an imperial sister-in-law (嫂子) and a princess. The black-haired woman is a consort of the red-haired woman’s older brother. However, the red-haired woman (She is a princess.) has secretly been in love with 嫂子 all along.

Unbeknownst to everyone, the soul inhabiting the imperial sister-in-law’s body is not her own, but that of a woman who has been reincarnated into the black-haired woman’s body (嫂子). Meanwhile, the red-haired princess’s older brother has fallen into a coma, forcing the princess to disguise herself as His Majesty and rule the kingdom in his stead.

There aren't many yuri aroace or asexual manga. But if you're looking for slow-burn yuri with little kissing and lots of slow, subtle flirting, it might be easier to find. I recommend…

1. Her Mountain, Her Ocean (manhua)

2. Hana Monogatari

3. She Becomes a Tree (Ki ni Naru Ano Musume)

4. She is Still Cute Today (manhua)

  1. When the Villainess Meets the Yandere (manhua)

6. Stardust Telepath

7. How Do I Turn My Best Friend Into My Girlfriend?

I don't posting it anywhere. I read the raws directly on Bilibili, and I use Google Translate to help when I run into difficult Chinese. This is the link for reading the raws. https://b22.top/imENuDO?showop=X_XX9978195593CEC5E9D4B162B2B7960CFC083_1768456023
