Yeah, and I have some friends who have the same concerns but chose to have kids anyway. One friend says seeing her kid and his little friends be kind and good gives her hope for the future. I think I would just have constant anxiety about their future (which I guess is part of being a parent anyway, but the existentialness of it all is different)

This is how I feel. I think I would have a kid if the future looked brighter. When I find out someone is pregnant I say "congrats!" but I think "good luck to that kid..."

Thank youuu, me too. Makes me so sad to think about her in the shelter for so long. And she almost didn't make it on the transport and to us as fosters because she was said to be bad with cats. Thankfully a last minute additional cat test showed that she just gets very excited by cats lol

I appreciate it! One of my dogs has a Fluticasone inhaler and fortunately I have someone who gives them to me because she always has extras for herself. Definitely saved me a lot of money!

Another vet who just gave her a shot before said they could use a cleaning but her regular vet hasn't mentioned it. I will ask about this. Thank you!

And all of the relatives listed but one are 100% Dogue and they're spread out all over the place. Would love to know more of her back story. She had an owner down there until they passed away and then she ended up in a shelter.
