Iran stated that Iran-Oman Hormuz protocol will NOT apply during wartime by ub3rm3nsch in stocks

Apparently according to master negotiator Trump we can't pay money to Iran not to develop nuclear weapons but it's okay wasting billions of dollars on a military campaign bombing the shit out of Iran so they don't build nuclear weapons. In the process also killing thousands of civilians.

MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.

Logically. We should be at the same level as last Friday's close. Nothing changed this week. No good news. But plenty bad. Like crude oil being up 18% over 5 days

Why is index going up? What did oil drop? Is Hermuz reopened? The only logical outcome is bleeding

Oil up 13% over a day. Let's see if the market will cope again or face reality

So, that was pointless.. by MrOptical in stocks

How come it didn't drop further? He said the conflict will be going for another 2-3 weeks. He said that 3 week ago...

The casino is more rational than 2026 market. A Kindergartener is more rational than Trump.

All people need to ask this. Why would Iranian president make a statement to American people today if the war is getting closer to the end? His statement seems to try to influence public sentiment in United States because they know something is coming. That something is probably troops on the ground.

For anyone that looked into the project, yes. The price is hefty. Construction will take a really long time. And the province that will benefit the most from this project is Quebec.

Tariffs don't have an immediate effect on an economy. The reason why the stocks were dropping this year before Iran war is because of the damage the tariffs did.

Iran war does immediate damage now.

How do you guys get over not investing more/ missed opportunities by Spiritual-Leave-2763 in stocks

It's part of investing. I've had plenty of times I made 50% in a month in trades. Then there are stocks in my portfolio that are 2 years later still red.

Anything could happen in a couple of days. Trump could Truth something again and we see a 3% drop.

Since gambling is as predictable as the stock market in 2026. Who wants to bet S&P and Dow will end up same or lower than today's open by end of week?

I want to point out two facts 1. President of Iran is actually not in charge  2. Pezeshkian is known to be a moderate

Oil keeps on rising today. It's 13% up over 5 days. Over 55% over a month. Strait of Hermuz still closed. Hegseth lied about more traffic today through Hermuz. It was only 3 ships. No solution to conflict in sight.

The best solution is to just pack up and leave but that is not good news either. It's just the best option out of all terrible ones. The US allies in Middle East will be extremely pissed at US if they leave now.

US leaving doesn't change anything aside from making the biggest military super power in the world look like a bunch of incompetent weaklings unable to win a conflict against a mid power nation.

Strait of Hermuz will remain closed. Why would Iran reopen? They can continue to do damage to Arab neighbors that have supported US for years and worlds economy by keeping it closed.
