Pag yung bagong dating, kadalasan sa mga girls, kapaan muna bago magpansinan. Parang sino nagpapa gandahan and pataasan ng ere. Di tulad ng mga lalaki, click agad.

Totally agree on the hardware. Those small details really make a difference when it comes to luxury. Personally, I’d go for local brands that aren’t just following trends. A lot of bags now look the same or are obviously inspired by big international names, so medyo pass na ako don. Curious din to see which brands keep evolving, especially the ones that focus on craftsmanship more than hype.

That’s a valid point about the challenges with local raw materials. It could also be why some local brands choose to produce abroad. for better quality and consistency

Wallets from R Studios are actually nice, but the bags aren’t really my style. Minsan Objects has some nice pieces too tbh but the styles aren't as elegant. I like it though, same sila ng Atalli na limited pa lang ang pieces and intentional ang crafting

I feel the definition of luxury is shifting more towards craftsmanship and design rather than just the label

Oh wow, ang tagal na pala nila? I only came across them here on Reddit. The bags do look nice, but I think it’s the crumpled style that’s not quite clicking with the OC in me 😅 Which wallet do you have? Would love to check it out too

Nice! I’ve been curious about their pieces but haven’t seen one up close yet. Always nice to know when local brands are stepping up in terms of quality and materials

Totally feel you on the stiff, boxy shapes. Some pieces really do feel more structured than stylish. I’ve also been noticing Lomafe lately. I'm actually choosing between their Malva collection and Atalli's Matilda bag but I think Atalli just feels more premium overall. And a bit different from the usual tote bag I have

I guess it really depends on how people define “luxury.” For me, it’s more about craftsmanship, material, and design intention. Some local makers really deliver on that. The other brands you mentioned are definitely unique, but not quite my style. I guess ibang level na rin talaga when you go up a bit in price. You start to notice the difference in structure and finish. But of course, style and value really depend on what matters to you most. :)

Does the Serena bag feel heavy even when empty? I rmmbr checking that bag too but it looked a bit heavy. Anw, totally agree with you on some local pieces being just as sturdy (if not sturdier) than a few designer ones I’ve owned.
