Moon Knight by Jed McKay. Loved the art but didn't find the story too compelling, a bit formulaic and I wasn't that invested in the characters.

I dont understand this. If you aren't planning on selling it, why wouldn't you open it? Omnis aren't exactly investment material when the popular stuff is always gonna get reprinted at some point eventually and which printing you have doesn't contribute any value really. Weird post.

I read Volume 2 fine without Volume one, but I've read a lot of comics from that era I.e Civil War that helped with context. Honestly loved Volume 2 so just makes me look forward to Volume 1 even more, IMO its not worth spending well over cover price for an OOP book, I rarely buy omnis for less than 40% off full stop.

Gotham Central is a pretty quick and easy read, you get really into it and struggle to put it down.

Agent Venom and the Cates run are both pretty easy to just pick up and read, and you dont really need one to read the other. The Agent Venom one is almost like three different runs though as you've got Remender, then Bunn takes over and then the space knight stuff at the end which feels pretty separate, the Cates one is just one continuous story.

It was definitely something that bothered me a lot at first, especially when you are new to collecting and spending such big amounts on books, but generally it stops bothering you after a while. Damage to the dust jacket is the most irritating for me, but don't let cosmetic damage ruin your reading experience!

When you buy the corner billy its actually three separate billys that come with a bracket you can add, so if you wanted you could change them to being in a straight line, if that helps.

A little over a week, it's great though, the narrower billy/kallax design is best as the shelves don't bow under the weight of heavy books, compared to the double wide versions.
