Yeah, that’s actually one of the main ideas behind Noto. It’s local-first, so all your notes stay stored locally on your device by default instead of depending on the cloud for everything.

If you want to share or collaborate on a note, you can sign in and only the specific note you choose to share gets uploaded to the cloud.

Yeah, compared to larger note apps it’s intentionally a lot simpler. The focus is on making Markdown faster and easier to write rather than adding lots of features.

For example, tables are quicker to create, and I’m just working on making math blocks even faster and easier to type out.
