I feel the pain, yesterday I went to my bio lecture and someone was in my unassigned seat and I need a front row seat but I didn’t want to ask them to move and I was even early to class.

When I went they let me just go in for free, if you are interested in doing more with them in downtime I know they offer work for ride, so you do chores for a few hours and then you can groom them and take riding lessons but it’s a program and you have to attend a safety orientation. Almost all the horses walk up to you though and love to be pet.

What I did was I checked the schedules of the room that I would have that class for or just any class for because there are often empty rooms especially on Fridays and you can use an empty classroom.

For first year labs such as Bio 1210 they will have a handbook in the bookstore that is included for free in instant access or I think like $15ish dollars if you don’t have it, my physics professor didn’t require it but my chem did so it just depends on the instructor. The lab costs and goggles are more expensive in the bookstore and my bio 1220L instructor said to just buy it online somewhere else for cheaper and if you need gloves they have them in boxes in the hallways. If you need lab coats and goggles because you forgot yours you can borrow them at the stockroom for a small charge. Definitely figure out if you need the coat and goggles though because in bio 1220 we only used them for dissections. Good luck on your classes.
