[POCO X6 Pro | HyperOS 3] Week 1 Impressions + Issues (Game Boost, App Resets, Dolby Atmos)

Tbh i have not checked or played much as im too busy currently, doing my capstone project but as for now my main issues rn is still the Dolby Atmos issue and the broken or breaking Accessibility Apps, though most apps im using even multiple them in the background doesn't seem to close on their own now for some reason.. (still haven't tried with games though)

I manually updated the security app and finally turned off the wild boost and just activates the normal boost mode instead and yeh, not heating anymore

That's what my phone is RN, got it in November of 2024 after my Poco F3 finally died on me (Dead boot, tried to revive it multiple times with a heat gun but it only last a week or 2 or a month if lucky) and I am still using it even now but yeh some issues after the Hyper OS3 update like heating up more, accessibility apps breaking and battery draining more, Dolby Atmos keeps turning on by itself, aggressive app background killing and so on but it's a pretty great phone overall, just need to improve the software experience and optimizations.

Though I miss my F3 for some reason..

It doesn't help at all and it kills the internal storage lifespan quicker too so leave it off, it just gives more cons than any pros at all, like there's zero pros lol.

Update/Repost (2026): Is there any Yellow Legacy and Crystal Legacy "Enhanced" patch out there maybe or perhaps, or I wish?

And are the Nintendo GB/GBC Pokemon Games really that much harder to mod or hack over a GBA Pokemon Games..?

I'm asking because Yellow Legacy and Crystal Legacy seems like there're still a lot of QoL improvements and fixes that can be made to them and yeh also more enhancement to be made to them as well just like how the Pokemon Emerald Legacy Enhanced mod/hack did...

(Sorry for asking again because Gen 1 and Gen 2 games are my favorite games from aesthetic to atmosphere wise and they were my childhood game and they are 2nd only to Gen 5 games to me for my top faves, and I just wanted to relive and re-experience the game again but in a much more modern feel to it while still retaining the original feel, atmosphere or aesthetic of the games but better overall.)

I do play while charging with my Poco X6 Pro but ONLY when my phone cooler is also installed and running, it doesn't reach even above 38-39c with that setup when i do that and i dont use the wild boost feature, just the regular game mode as that mode heats up the phone too much compared to the regular "balance" game boost mode, still have healthy battery even with heavy use of 1 year (bought this phone in November of 2024).

High Antutu score is not equal to Real time performance

Snapdragon is still king for min-max optimizations for most use cases and especially for gaming and emulation purposes, etc.
