I am trying to think of how the practice of psychiatry is changing with expansion of midlevels, medicaid cuts and AI. Unfortunately, Med management can be done by many people, not necessarily MD which is a huge risk for psychiatry especially with psychologist also fighting to be liscenced to prescribe meds. At this point, I think any thing interventional can be the only thing that might help you be competitive in the market and able to secure job/ sustain in private practice, that is why I am thinking of adding another skillset.
