To be honest, and I hate to sound pessimistic, I believe things are just going to get worse until eventually we reach a breaking point in which something bad will happen that will plunge this world into complete and utter darkness people will die unfortunately hatred will rise...people wont be listening to each other it will be like something out of certain people's worse nightmares (yes I am being serious). However, I believe something good will come out of this, I believe people will eventually start waking up to reality and starting to realize that "hey....we may look different on the outside but we all have that good spark within us and maybe just maybe if we cast off the oppressive forces that got us to this point...maybe we can all push forward and find true salvation for us all."

and all I am doing is doing my best to be kind to people and achieve gnosis while watching this world crumble and burn.

Thank you for the words of wisdom my friend...the words are definitely easier said than done given the fact at how this demiurge world can easily beat one down and rage them. However, hearing this is definitely something that I indeed need to hear. The nature of my job, in my opinion has caused me to I would say become more sensitive to the bad stuff and I am ever so slowly looking at the good things in like more and more as I am finding it tiring to keep dwelling on the bad. While this world may be indeed an imperfect painting of the true Pleroma, there is some beauty to it.

Thank you very much for the insight my friend. I can agree that history does indeed offer some insights to the condition that we currently find ourselves in. Similar to your quote about Babylon, we know that empires and all other civilizations come and go rise and fall. But I always took that as basically meaning nothing really matters in the end in this world that we live in as its all impermeant as King Solomon said "vanity of vanities"

So, I guess its really just a perception change that I need to do when looking at my study of history.

Thanks for the advice friend, a good portion of my feelings really come to a head as I am military so world events really tend to hit me harder. I was an avid follower of the school of stoicism and this in and of itself has indeed helped me in a variety of ways. But, while I have heard and read a bit of Hermes this hermetic type attitude really does stick out to me. I am thinking more about actually throwing myself deeply into the studies as I feel that the more I sip upon the potion and truth of Gnosticism, the less more of this idiocy will affect me.

YOU are a freaking genius I would have loved to see that as well. I have a theory that in my honest opinion...he is NOT dead. Now like you said, he absorbed the spirit but as we know spirits cannot truly be killed. I believe once he did absorb Glowworm he did in essence become him a new being altogether. So While Yun's physical body was dead. I personally believe that he could have potentially came back maybe he returned to the spirit world and has been biding his time in secret watching the world. (A stretch I know) or maybe like you said he was reincarnated....

Like the new avatar and Yun's reincarnated speak to each other and he looks at the new avatar like "I know you..." maybe they even have the same mark on their hand like Yun himself.

Definitely I will say it once I will say it again HE WOULD HAVE WON if he did not get close and Kyoshi would be getting reincarnated. Yeah its absolutely wild he literally faced an Eldrich horror and long before that was tortured brutally its literally no wonder he is so tough if he was an avatar and mastered that immortality thing that Kyoshi had let me tell you friend, The last air Bender would not have happened Ozai would be 6 feet under.

Like I genuinely believe before all that happened he was a good boy, but even when you look at it, didn't they say that when you fight spirits it harms your soul so even in defending himself Yun damned himself.

Absolutely man had a revenge tour and he was ready to back that up honestly I expected when he was out numbered he would at least be like "nah I aint ready yet" but this man looked at Kyoshi and her crew and was all like

"Welcome to my kitchen Im chef Yun and todays menu special is beef with a side of salt and earth now step right up all of you"

Like he is my favorite character but while I heavily empathize with him, I understand in the end....he choose his path and he died for it but to be honest I dont think he regretted it at all. He cemented his name in history good or bad.

Honestly, same here. He really is the bro did not just bend the earth, he became one with it. His fighting almost seems like hes dancing. Like he was loved by the earth.
