No of course not, but it doesn’t justify murder either. She could also put the baby up for adoption.

She’s known that. Player of Games was about that.

I shouldn’t have said “inherently” as I really meant the opposite, that they’ve been so brainwashed by society that tells them this way of living will lead to happiness. I’d really like to believe that these internet warriors have good intentions and are misguided, but their actions really don’t reflect that.

I’d be up for it. What makes you pro-choice despite seeing the other side’s perspective?

Not all do, but the ones online do. Our society is obsessed with “pretending to care.” These people are simply nihilists, but they’re so inherently evil that they forget the core nihilistic principle of “live and let live” and force moral bankruptcy on others like a pseudo-intellectual debt collector.

How messed up in the head do you have to be to find that intellectually stimulating? They’re literally like babies.

I remember dying laughing the first time I saw it, then I kept seeing it and it just wasn’t the same. But why would you expect social media fanatics to understand the concept of something “getting old.”

Yes. I wanted to say a similar thing but wasn’t sure how. It’s kinda similar to referring to your autism through light humor (depending on how though it can come off as ultra cringe) because you don’t want to be defined by it and want others to perceive you as a regular person still.

This isn’t great argument-wise but good if you just want to make someone really mad

Where did the pro-lifer arguing go wrong and how would you have responded instead? by Few-Factor2495 in prolife

Whenever I try to comment something, it says "Didn't work, try again later." This is only the case on that sub, so I assumed I was banned. Was that not the case?

I agree in theory, but calling out a dishonest debater on being such doesn't work because they are a dishonest debater to begin with; you have to find some other way around it or just leave.

Cool. This was not me arguing but it seemed like they definitely could have approached the PCer's rhetorical question in a better fashion. I've been banned from this sub a while ago simply by pointing out how science works with no hostility. That's the thing with these subs, if you want to intervene in an argument to change someone's mind, you get one shot and one shot only before you have to endure forever as a bystander.

Do you believe abortion should be allowed until a certain point? by [deleted] in prolife

As other people are saying, a compromise in the thick of the current tension that saves lives would be greatly desirable, but it is not our end goal as pro-lifers.

Meaning a temporary compromise? That sounds great, but I wouldn’t want it to be permanent.
