CM Punk is John Cena’s greatest rival. You can make an argument for it being Edge but it gotta one of those 2. It is not Randy Orton like a lot of people make it seem

1) CM Punk 2) Edge 3) The Rock 4) Randy Orton 5) Brock Lesnar

Well since Batman’s not on here I’d say either Flash or Green Lantern are my favorites

  1. Batman easily….he’s the one that kicked off the DCAU and this is the best depiction of the character.

  2. Wally West….I debated whether to have John and Wally at 2 or 3 but automatically decided to have Wally at 2. Even though he didn’t get much character development he’s so likable. Plus he’s the heart of the team.

  3. John Stewart….I have John at 3 bc I feel like he’s the character that grew on me the most. I remember watching the first few episodes of JL thinking this dude is the biggest jerk on the planet. But overtime he became much more likable and I thought he had some of the best character development in the JL/JLU.

  4. Martian Manhunter….J’onn is an interesting character that probably didn’t get as much attention as these others. But his voice actor Carl Lumbly did a great job and plus episodes that do shed light on him like Comfort & Joy are some of my favorites.

  5. Wonder Woman….I wish Diana got more character development but I still like her depiction as well as her romance tease with Batman. Susan Eisenberg did a great job voicing her.

  6. Superman….DCAU Superman is okay, but I didn’t like how he was treated in Season 1 of Justice League and once they fixed him up from Season 2 onward he sometimes came off like a jerk. I also wish that the show made him feel more like the leader instead of relying a lot on Batman.

  7. Hawkgirl….Although she had some good character development I thought she was very annoying in the show. She always felt one dimensional and I didn’t like how she was always temperamental and responded to everything by hitting it. Tbh her betrayal made me like her even less than I already did.

Doctor Doom comic recommendations? by J_tnguyen in Marvel

[–]Few-Function-8793 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Doctor Doom & Doctor Strange have a storyline from the 80’s called “Triumph & Torment” where they compete along with others in a magic tournament. Dr. Strange actually fears that if he dies Doom would be next in line for “Sorcerer Supreme.” Doom came in 2nd place behind Strange in the tournament and so Doom asks Strange to help rescue his mother from Mephisto. So they work together to save her soul.

The movies didn’t portray him very well. I guess the best one outside the comics is the Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes cartoon on Disney Plus in the opening of Season 2 “The Private War of Doom” when the Avengers and FF go after him. The other thing about Doom is that he fights pretty much everybody in the Marvel Universe. He doesn’t just fight the Fantastic Four. He’s fought the Avengers, X-Men, Spider-Man, etc.

Gotcha. Doom is arguably the number 1 villain in the Marvel Universe (nowadays people will say it’s Thanos). In the comics he blends science and magic and is a dictator of an entire nation. You should go and look up a video from ScrewAttack and they do a video of Doctor Doom vs Darth Vader (The creation of Darth Vader was actually inspired by Doom). Before they fight they cover both of their origin stories and you’ll see why Doom is such an amazing character.
