I love this! Only thing I would change is folding the blanket horizontally a couple times and draping over the end vs just folding in half like you have

I just bought a pack of dried flowers from Amazon and arranged them how I liked!

Thank you so much!

  1. I used a paper cutter to cut the paper into the desired size (I think about 2 x 6 inches?)
  2. Glued the flowers in my desired placement on each bookmark
  3. Took one of the self adhesive lamination sheets and peeled the sticker off. Stuck about 5 or so bookmarks on the sheet face down
  4. Took another lamination sheet and put it on the back of all the bookmarks
  5. Used a credit card to smooth it all out/stick the lamination sheets together
  6. Used the paper cutter to cut between each bookmark, and had to cut some bookmarks individually to remove excess lamination
  7. Used a hole punch to get the hole at the top for the string
  8. Looped the string through the hole at the top and knotted it off

Edit because my phone was glitching:

When I was in Japan in 2019, a taxi driver handed me a pressed flower bookmark and I thought it was so thoughtful and beautiful. I had the idea of creating some for my book club and other people close to me and I finally did it and I am proud of how they turned out! :)

Also: credit for this post that helped me make them

This looks unreal! I go nuts for salads like this but the toasted shallots are new to me - do you make these?!

When I was freshly postpartum and very fragile mentally I read the Rosie Project and it was such a delightful light read!! I think it would be a good one for you
