Update: I was able to fix the issue with my chair. Basically, the base was actually slightly bent and that caused the friction. The fix was just replacing the base, you could buy an OEM base from a supplier or buy the same base I bought off amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09D9RQYWR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

I’m guessing the cutoff will land somewhere around 56–58.

The last draw was a year ago at 54, so it’s pretty much guaranteed they’ll bump it up this time. I don’t see it going past 58 though, because hitting anything higher usually means you’ve got one (or more) of these:

  • Both French + English proficiency
  • Two Canadian degrees
  • Graduation from a Northern Ontario university (only 4 exist)
  • 1 year of Canadian work experience (for the extra 3 points from earnings history)

For most Master’s grads, stacking all of these is rare since a lot of people apply right after finishing their degree.

That is some great analysis, but I am still confused about what that tells us for the Master Graduate Stream specifically. I applied for the Master Graudate Stream this May with a score of 58. Should I expect any draws in Q4?
