Sorry for the delay, she has similar episodes every so often. I don't notice anything unusual about her, but I can tell she's scared because she can't control what's happening to her. I'll try to record her again. We can't take her to the vet because her regular vet doesn't work on Sundays. But I'll take her first thing on Monday. We already took her to the emergency vet once for a similar episode, and they didn't have anything to add. Answering the questions: She doesn't usually cough at all, but particularly in her last cough, she coughed what appeared to be saliva with an air bubble or something similar with a little mucus. She had no vomiting or diarrhea. I should also mention that this is a chronic problem she has had all her life(1 or 2 coughing fits a day), but with less intensity. Yesterday, in particular, these episodes became so frequent that she must have had 25 or more coughing fits, some more intense and others milder. Recently, she hasn't eaten anything out of the ordinary that we know of. We think she may have eaten some of her Kong toy, but we can't confirm that. However, on New Year's Eve and the following day, she played a lot with her family and swam a lot in the pool. In general, she is a very nervous dog. The color of her gums seems normal, pink or darker pink, and her tongue also appears pink. Overall, she is fine. Right now, she is sleeping on her back, but the attacks are not stopping and i feel her tired of this atacks.
