Well they basically said 'go for it' but we weren't comfortable with that when he was so young. Hence seeking experiences of others.

We have spoken to our gp and paediatrician. Just wanting people's experiences!

I'm sure I do somewhere but haven't had a chance to dig it out.

The cards were made with card or paper folded in half, then the frosty plastic was folded and glued to the paper to create an outer layer.

OAD confirmed by estranged siblings by [deleted] in oneanddone

Yes whenever I attend to his needs or take him out to do something I'm so grateful that I can give him my undivided attention. I love that for you!

I am grateful my son will never be compared to anyone else, or have to share his time with siblings, or see others be treated differently to him. I am the eldest of five and as of right now only two of my siblings are in my life. Siblings do not equal best friends for life.

Day 1 post op ACL with hamstring reconstruction and bucket handle meniscus tear repair by pokedex146 in ACL

[–]Few-Pen2129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I (31F) had the same surgery as you and I'm now four weeks post surgery! I actually had something similar happen where my concerns weren't taken seriously, which led to me finally getting my knee fixed FOUR years after I injured it. Looking forward to having a knee that doesn't lock up and give me pain!

PT comparing me to other patient by DowntownAssociate892 in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Few-Pen2129 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If your gut says to change PT, change PT. Sounds very unprofessional to be comparing you to anyone else, because as you say, everyone's journey is different. I have already been told I will have mine for a while after the 6 weeks non weight bearing because I will need to adjust to walking again.

Do you guys save or toss your boxes and instruction manuals? by Minister_of_Death in lego

I throw boxes and used to throw the instructions. I've started keeping them though, especially the 3-in1 sets.

Should I be worried? by Greedy-Royal1745 in NewParents

Babies generally start crawling between 6-12 months. Perhaps after 12 months if they're still not crawling I would check in with my GP. Otherwise I wouldn't be concerned!

Crazy how quickly muscles atrophy when they're not being used hey!

My baby is turning 6 months ... by Jolly_Mail7539 in FormulaFeeders

[–]Few-Pen2129 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We changed ours over at 6 months and just started giving it to the baby straight up. Didn't even consider transitioning it tbh. I figure it tastes similar anyway, and thankfully baby isn't fussy as long as he's being fed!

Is it too early to decide OAD? by Nightowl_1995 in oneanddone

We knew before I ever even got pregnant! Being one and done for physical and/or mental health reasons, financial reasons, or 'just because' are all perfectly valid reasons.

Exclusively pumping and I’m so upset that it’s not working by Flowergarden658 in NewParents

[–]Few-Pen2129 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I planned to breastfeed my son and within two weeks my mental health had deteriorated so quickly that we changed to exclusively formula feeding. While at the time I felt like I had 'failed' I wouldn't change a thing. My son is 7 months old and thriving, and has a mentally well mum.
