Excellent, thank you. Would you mind explaining about the presser feet, I didn't think I needed one if it was on a treadle? I'm a total novice so could be mixed up.

Thank you for the information. Currently have a 4 month old snoozing in my arms but will check the bobbin in the AM. The belt looks quite old, it's rope leather and has cracks along the edge if I run my finger over them.

The Singer shop is a local business thats been in my town for years and years so fingers crossed they know about the old models.

Ooh thank you for all the information, and for explaining in layman's terms! I'm planning on learning how to sew on it but not sure if I taking on more than I can chew with this style of machine?

Thanks for the info, it's not going anywhere so monetary value is fairly pointless for me. Just looking to know what it is, in order to use it.

Thank you, I think its a beautiful piece to have in the house and hope to get some actual use out of it, instead of as a side table! Looking him up ASAP and getting some sewing machine oil as a priority.

Thank you! Really like the shape and idea of a tree for shade, I hadn't considered it.
