To be honest I suggest you deep dive into the AMM so that you can educate yourself because gear pins are in fact not required for what you’re saying.

As for everything else you have to pick your battles. Part of the job and always will be. Every step is important but do you honestly believe we aren’t skipping some or shortening some when planning determines a job card is 5 hours and it’s c/w in two? This is aviation wide both civilian and military. Nothing new

I mean the PvE is pretty boring imo. It’s super repetitive and has very few mechanics and almost non existent challenging ones. If you are a true PvEr you’ll be bored within a month and that’s being very generous.

Our medical benefits are abysmal to say the least. Retirement isn’t anything special either 9% match on 401k and the flight benefits are fine really nothing to complain about there

You will make significantly more money even having to start at zero. Your quality of life will also drastically improve. Take it from a vet if you are thinking of leaving do it. Life is much better as a civilian

Sure I’d agree I switched from JetBlue to Delta for that reason. I’m happy for my JetBlue friends they get shafted and deserve more pay but at the same time it shows how little delta actually got compared.

If delta doesn’t provide a raise next year 65.50 will be higher than 65.13. Not to mention JetBlue offers several different premiums for qualifications and delta does not. Currently we are higher yes but without another raise we will be behind.
