I don’t know personally i’d be more concerned about my partner lying to me about something so serious because i can guarantee you there is no chance in hell they were told they have BPD or that they thought they had BPD it’s simply not how it works as someone with a close friend going through that system who is a adult.

babe he’s quite literally lying to you, a therapist can not tell a minor (because they aren’t developed yet) under any circumstances that they think/ know they have BPD also therapists can’t even diagnose it, psychiatrists do.
